Grymn Armies?
« on: June 18, 2013, 05:53:15 PM »
Everyone has seen my Grymn armies... but I have only seen one or two others.

That begs the question... are there any more out there?

Please could you post a pic of your Grymn squads/armies here in a bid to share the wealth and try and get some inspiration...

Old pics of very old paint jobs, but this is what I have to hand (with many more still in WIP limbo)

Excellent stuff so far :).

My question is... why haven't they been posted up in groups before?

I've seen bits and bobs but never the full whack. I was beginning to think I was one of only two or three Grymn army builders... maybe there are more out there?

Not really editing, more adding to without taking anything away from it :)

No need for eye rolling though... I could have deleted it for trying to derail the thread :)

But what is power without control (and a bit of humour)?

I am having huge issues with the hobby at the moment and just wanted to see pix of other people's Grymn to try and get me back into things, that is all.

But hey, don't worry about me, you just come along and try to derail things and roll your eyes at me... ;)

A bit like TMP, and abuse of power when you could easily just post a comment. When things are edited by Mods there should be a reason relating to the forum rules for it - not just on their whim.

Inso, you try to derail almost every single thread about new Hasslefree miniatures with - "its nice but its not Grymm" and have done so for the last few years.

No sense of humor?

Gotta agree with Bungle on both points. Quoting him and adding the wips would have been better. It was just banter

Still, back on track... More pics please :)

i think its me that does more derailing of new mini threads than inso but i tend to say "nice but too tall|" or "its good but its not a grav bike"

meanwhile back on topic... i haven't actually painted a grymn since 2009. for the DoD. how shockingly rubbish is that :(
i really should pull my finger out. I have about 300 of the bugegrs to daub...

sorry inso - i'm letting the side down.

ive got a reasonable force in British modern ( ish) desert  ( tan and earth) with a couple of DLD Bengal tanks for support.  but im afraid pics aren't likely to be forthcoming, for the same reason that id not done pics for WIPS of the HF dress a lady comp, ive tried to read the terms and conditions on a couple of photo hosting sites, and they end up with multiple windows of dense type open, whos main point of existence seems to be to add user confusion and evade any responsibility.
a happy dauber

Great thread here - good to see some fully painted forces all in one place! Sadly I haven't got a painted Grymn force to share...

These are all pretty dang awesome, thanks for sharing!

I really like a large portion of the grymm aesthetics... of only the guns weren't so weird. I really have always disliked the designs, which is too bad. Oh well, not like I need another project.  ;)

Odd you should say that as if you look carefully quite a large percentage of the Grymn have been designed so the guns snip off and you can stick anything ya like on the hand ;)
