Ah, St. Johns. I spent a few crazy and coincidentally snow filled days there when I was a fisheries observer for the EU (there's a Spanish/Portuguese fishery just outside of Canadian national waters). Nice town... baaaaaaaad rum.

Not yet.

The link that Mr Teufel showed is for a different competition so don't worry (it is for the now finished UDoD 12 competition).

Oops! My mistake.

The sculpting comp is going to take time, I guess. 85+ entries have to get to Hasslefree Central, then they cast masters, then they judge.

Plus I sent mine in the week they asked for them and it's still not been labelled as having arrived, even sent it recorded in panic of losing my first sculpting competition entry!

Just wondering, what kind of public poll will it be, and won't it be a bit susceptible to fraud? Not that any of you would do such things, of course...  :paranoid2:

Aside from that, I assume you at HF would be much better judges of the miniatures (y'know, having knowledge of sculpting (that's for sure!), having the actual models to look at instead of some pictures) and it probably takes more time to upload all picturs in some complicated poll than to have a look at 'em.. no?

Also: hi!  :silly

For those of you Luddites like me who refuse to use facebook, this from the hasslefree page:

Finally after months of illness, lurgy and operations we are getting images uploaded. One issue we had to deal with and one that concerned a number of people online is that we had to make sure the poll provider could allow us to stop people voting more than once. We seem to have finally found one that will allow us unlimited image uploads and block people from repeating votes!

It doesnt look very glamorous yet i know and is very basic but would appreciate if you could all help me test it before i sign over my financial soul and multiple hours resizing images.

Thankyou lots !

Sally :)

Need to use the email as it's the only slightly troublesome one to dupe.

I think PossumCraft is right. It'll happen when there's free time from the 'real' business. Until then, look at all the pretties and talk to all the nice people!   :D

That reminds me - at some point it was said somewhere that putting the destined categories for each entry next to the pic in the facebook folder would speed up the process, IIRC.
Could any of you with a facebook account please, please, pretty please make sure that my beloved Brynhildr, shown below, gets placed in the Fantasy competition?
I think she was in one of the first couple of rows.
Thanks a lot!

If you're 100% certain nobody could mistake the shield for a forcefield generator, the axe for a futuristic tree-cutting tool and the chainmail for a nice knitting pattern.. I suppose I'm safe, yes.
Unless she's a re-enactor of course, modern person dressed like a historical/fantasy one...
