Just remember that there may be a large amount of e-mails to be sent out so if you haven't had one yet, give it a few hours before you start feeling neglected ;).

Bergil, please note the above ;).

Sally mentioned on facebook that there were a lot of entries. Leave it a day or so before worrying and then drop her a PM/E-mail if nothing turns up.

If I'm not mistaken Sal posted on Facebook yesterday saying that all entries she's received have now been emailed.

*checking...*

Yes, she did: http://www.facebook.com/HF.Minis.are.the.best?ref=stream

So if you haven't received your email (and check your junk box first) it's time to contact them.

I received my e-mail so I'm happy. I am sure that anyone who didn't has got or will get sorted out.

Quite how many entries were there? I saw quite a few threads from people I recognise.. And many more from people who signed up just for the contest. I'm going to assume there were a lot of entries that weren't posted, too.  :paranoid2:

Seeing as its been over a month now since the competition closed, does anyone have any news on this?  :erm:

Above us all.
And leave behind those who don't know,
Of the final day.
We leave in sleep those who don't know,

Wild B-machine - that never stops.

I was supposed to get my PC back last week, I eventually got it back on Friday afternoon.  The motherboard was replaced and the operating system installed but all of my software, bookmarks etc were gone. The kids went back to school yesterday after half term however Luke did not go back until today.  Photoshop is now installed as is the FTP upload programmes.  Today i have been collating all of my bookmarks again which has involved tracking down all of my old urls that link to what I do one daily basis including accessing the website server, the image storage server, emails, advertising links and all control panels as well as coding the new 54 mm figure. I am all set to start organising the images tomorrow morning after a hospital appointment plus a run to the casters.  I hope to have them done as soon as possible, I am sorry for the delay which was completely beyond my control.
A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

omg I know your pain on that one -.-'

My hard drive fried itself a while back and I had to spend almost 800 to get the data recovered, and I STILL lost all my bookmarks etc. Not fun times!

Hard drives frying is a pain.
Mother boards frying is a simple swap. No need at all to uninstall anything! Odd...

I had the blue screen of death the other night, and then a boot error.  I was able to get it running and hastily made sure I had back ups on my external drives.

I hate that sinking feeling you get when you think your computer is going to die...

(of course in the back of my mind I was thinking... "Replace the old HD with an SSD or see if I can talk the wife into getting that new gaming PC...)

I hate that blue screen. Lately my computer has had that about once a day and sometimes everything just locks up. No keyboard, no mouse. I have to turn it off at the button to get it going again and then it takes about 3-4 restarts for it to right itself... oh yeah, looking forward to seeing those pics Sal, when you get the chance. :)

As long as it was replaced with same motherboard then nope there wouldn't be. But guessing it be a different model board and 9 times out of 10 you would end up having to reinstall.

I've had a blue screen two weeks ago. Weird, in the past this used to be a regular occurance with the only thing changing being the look of the blue screen since WinXP but those two weeks ago I was close to panicking for a moment just because I wasn't used to it any more. :D
