I still love that one! I'm kind of embarrassed to show mine after seeing all these!

And here is the sister to Whisper. :)

Must be something in the family.

And my second entry:

Didn't get to finish my HMPURPVSRMW BGR A30 Mk3 in time. :( If I get to finish it I will post it some other time.

Great entries all.

Oh, and my pics were taken with a single desklight, metal case as reflector and a blue book as background. Didn't have time to go fancy with the setup.

Bye, Ming-Hua.

Frankly, the prospect of getting some of the entries to paint is going to be reward enough.

Here's my one!

I decided not to mess with the basic pose too much, but to go with what seemed right for it as it was (Which turns out to have been a blessing because I didn't get any time to do it until the last week. The putty was drying as I photographed it!). What I saw in the original armature was a little goaty sister for big old Oberon:

Some utterly stonking sculpts being posted! I think the judges will be tearing their hair out working out which should win!

Dameon's first job on Monday will be to print all of these out for me to have a proper look at.

You've all done us (and yourselves) proud :D

(I haven't posted on any of the threads before because I didn't want to put anyone off. People ask for CC if they know I'm around and that can sometimes cause people to stop what they're doing if I say, "well, this could be sharper" or whatever)

So, yeah, well done one and all

Of course, this doesn't apply to Kev.

Because he's just so cool that way! (What did you think I meant?!)

I went for simplicity, emphasising Kevs figure work and going for the retro sci-fi look. My main constraint though was a lack of sculpting time over the summer...

All amazing, frankly, and it's absolutely incredible to me they all came from the same armature.

Well done everyone.

And here's mine:

I'm well aware it's not in the same league as others here, but hey, it's my first attempt ever, so I'm just amazed I finished it!  :D  She's inspired by my old Vampire: The Masquerade character; bike jacket, boots and tight jeans.

We had a problem where Dameon thought Sal was checking an email account while Sally thought the opposite, so for a while some accounts weren't checked for weeks

If some entries have gone missing we will make allowances for them and let the entries stand even if we get them later than the deadline specified.

Sounds reasonable, but how do we know if our entries have gone astray... Should we have received a confirmation email?

we are ploughing our way through them at the moment.  i will send out a blanket email by the weekend to every entry in that inbox so if you still havent received confirmation by saturday then firstly check your spam folder, secondly check that you are logged onto the right email account and thirdly email me at sallyAThasslefreeminiaturesDOTcoDOTuk

i just want to say that overall the standard of entries this year is fab, thanks so much!

There are some excellent pieces of work here. Everyone who entered should feel very proud of what they have achieved.  :notworthy:

I'm ashamed at how quickly I gave up after the putty refused to cooperate. I shall have to learn perseverance.
