Well I guess I don't get to enter...
I am now in the US and not able to take photos. I tried to get info on what to do before I left but didn't get the info in time. I only saw this at all because a friend let me know you had updated the details.
Real shame to put so much work in an not be able to take part.
Good luck to the rest of you all.

How so? Did you leave your entries in the UK?

In which case.. how were you planning to mail them to the contest?

Could your friend/parents not photograph them?

Yeah the entry is still in the UK. I had been hoping for info on where to send the miniature a little bit earlier (see my post a few pages back). Not really anyone I can call on for photos. I think I have a couple of WIP pics on my phone but they aren't very good quality for voting purposes.
It was my fault for assuming the lack of response meant the entries were getting pushed back.

My suggestion would be to send in the pics you have and explain your circumstances to Sally. I am sure that there will be some latitude for extenuating circumstances. When do you return from the US? If it is only a couple of weeks then maybe something can be worked out with Sally. A PM or e-mail would be my first recommendation because, as you say, putting all that work in is a real shame if it doesn't get entered in the comp.

Thanks Inso, I will give that a shot. getting back to the UK is dependent on work but shouldn't be later than the 14th October.

Yeah, that happened naturally for 3 of mine but for the last one I took it off as I moved the legs so far.

Me too.

The addition of the basing tab is something Kev will sort out if he needs to (due to it needing to have 'hasslefree' and the copyright/date on it :) ) so don't worry :).

Entrys sent! In a 800by800 collage of all four angles for each mini. I did one modern, one scifi and two fantasy. I wish the photos were better if they are what people will be voting on but there ain't nothing I can do abouit that unless I buy a real camera :P

Well, I've finished my first ever sculpt. I have some fairly unpleasing photos, so I just have to do the photomontage.

Up to 2 weeks after the closing date we will publish all of the pics online and set up a facility...
I read that as before two weeks... I hope :)

Personally I hope Kev and sally pic first place and let the forum do second. Or even better, they do second too. I don't like my chances based on the quality of my photos. Maybe have a single "forum's choice prize"
