Dear Kev, please sculpt me this...
« on: February 14, 2012, 06:05:48 AM »
Come on, you know you want to...

Warning: I've posted a link and not the actual image because the drawing contains nudity that some prudish people may find offensive. So if you are too young (or at work) don't look.

Why did you have to go and be a prat about it?  And what makes the too-young or people at work 'uptight prudes' in your eyes?

Relax Vermis - I read the same post as you, but it came over as tongue in cheek, and a bit cheeky. No need to take offence.

It also saved me from clicking on the link in the office so thanks Nos :)

Time of the month Warren?

:D

And 'uptight prudes' was your inference, not what he said ;)

Isn't there a range of 'half-naked-chicks-on-mecha' available already? I swear I've seen them...Relic Knights or something?

I know Kev would probably do an awesome job of them but it would have pretty limited appeal, surely?

It is a nice mech in the pic but the undressed pilot has never computed with me...

But this request is as valid as any other and it does mix two of Kev's interests (naked ladies and mechs) so I'd go with it too (but I'd probably swap the pilot if the mech was cool...I'm sure I could make a Grymn fit in there somewhere ).

Wow, very cool drawing! She has great hair. ...the front of the mecha looks a little... lumpy? A bit odd, but it could be a pretty amazing mini.

:eh: Are you serious? I was simply giving a warning to those who view the forum at work and giving the people the option of not viewing if they find nudity offensive. I was implying that perhaps the image was also suited to a more mature audience. If somehow this is wrong or stupid, then I'm sorry. I know that if I open up a page on any forum at work that had something like this, those around me (who rightly or wrongly are a little prudish) would find it offensive and I could get myself into trouble. A warning about the content seemed logical to me.

Jeesh! I'll just shut up then...  :erm:

I'd rather you kept posting, and definitely prefer a NSFW warning - don't let a grumpy Vermis get you down :)

Nothing wrong with your original post Nosferatu, and in fact very considerate of you to flash up a nudity warning. I sometimes view this forum while at work, and appreciate such warnings greatly, as like at your workplace, it would be inappropriate to have images with nudity coming up at mine.

My biggest fear is that when I'm piloting my mech in battle and I'm naked, is that my mech will sustain a lot of damage and I'll have to abandon it mid battle.  Leaving me running around the battle field nekkid with nothing but my sidearm.  Not a pretty picture....

Ever notice it's buff dudes or hot chicks popping out of mechs? Never the middle aged, slightly overweight grizzled veterans?

Perhaps because mechs are such obvious targets that the pilots do not survive to make veterans. AS to the nudity maybe it needs skin contact for some shock absorbing gel, I am sure that is what the fitters would tell her anyway.

Have to agree with the others, I thankful you gave the warning. Working in an open planned office with 40 odd other people, I would prefer not to have semi-nude ladies come up on my screen. I am the Network Manager, have to have some standards :).

Odd, when something like that would pop up on the boss' screen he'd be the first to yell "OI! come an' take a peek at this lads!".
Wich will then proceed with loads of "OOOOH's" and "WOAAA's".
Followed the obvious jokes like 'wonder how she'll pilot that thing? Ey?Ey?" and "where's the 'joystick'?" with lot's of nudging and winking upon seeing the position in wich the pilot finds herself.
Then again, I work in construction, not an office so that may explain a lot

I really like that, I think it would go well with some of kev's other figures. We are lacking in naked chicks these days, I demand more naked women kevin! Oh and the mechs cool as well, I'm a fan of Anime, Mecha, and manga so this sort of thing is right up my street.
