A statue, of Liberty
« on: November 30, 2011, 08:56:16 PM »
To signify our talk of moving to USA in a few years, Kev decided to make a statue, of Liberty,
Its the first time he has sculpted me with short hair, all of the original Libbys had my long curls
but they went a few years ago!

A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

It would have to be in 2mm, the real statue is mahoosive.

Yay.......what a cool sculpt. I think I'll do a conversion and make the torch into a '99 with a flake, then have the HF kids jumping up and down trying to steal it!! (Well, Libertee could be going to a Fancy Dress party or celebrating 4th July :D ;)

I like this!!!  A definite buy and paint.  She would probably go straight to the "in progress" group and not the "wait till the bench clears up" group.

Kev, are you a mind-reader? I was recently in New York (went down to the bottom end of Manhattan and had a look at it across the river, didn't have time to get the Ferry over - plus it's pretty much closed off anyway so you can't get up inside anymore), and was thinking of suggesting this.

(I'll start thinking of more possible models, just in case ;)).

Good call, with that and the gladiator girls and a few others you do, I should be able to put together a girl (war) band.

Well, that's ace. :D I must admit to having had reservations about this sculpt but now I think it's ace. I think it'll work nicely mounted above the door of my Arbites Precinct House: The Lex Imperialis is not blind, citizen, and the light of the God-Emperor burns:applause:

As for Britanniberty, she'll do nicely as a statue for my 15mm SF - the New Britannian Commonweal has to have some propaganda pieces somewhere. ;)
