Excelent sculpts. I'm very much a fan of 'generic' sci-fi troops.

Crabby makes me think of Garthim

Good stuff Andy, almost choked on my breakfast looking at their awesomeness.

The troopers are cool. I like the guns and the helmets, there is a nice not to distant future feel to them which I like.

I am loving this lot .

The only things that leap out are:

The bare headed sci-fi trooper - I can't tell you why but his head looks wrong.  I don't know whether it is size or position but it doesn't look right to me.

The crab man - I agree with the four legs idea.  I would also suggest that the second pair of arms should have some hands rather than be swimming legs/scythes).  It may also be an idea to have a separate head...have you seen the original war of the worlds where the tripods look like they are hovering (legs of energy)?  The squashed, broad head of those would look like what I'm trying to explain:

...just a lot closer to the top of the body.

I know what you mean about the bare head. It doesn't quite work, I think it's mainly position but it's also a slightly odd looking head (a bit Peter Stormare. A little bit Jeremy Hardy!)

Oh hell yes, love the SF troopers. Exactly what I've been looking for to oppose my Pig Iron militia and upcoming rebels/scavengers!

The bareheaded one has a very hooked nose looking at the right hand picture?

The skull mask one looks like one of these...

(Airsoft copy of the Army of Two mask) or the wraps that Deltas/CIA Special Activities Division allegedly wear.

That said, I'd really like a head option with a shemagh/multi wrap around the face, something like this:

Like 'em all Andy, really looking forward to getting all of them.

Any chance any of this lot'll be ready for Salute?

I know it's early days, but any chance of some nice vehicles to go with the troops, Mastiff, Ridgeback or Buffalo like maybe?

I'm trying to get as many done by Salute as possible, but it's only a few weeks away now!
As to vehicles, yes, at some point I'll be getting some vehicles done. Remember that Tank thread from last year (or the year before, it all blurs into one for me...)?
Hooked nose is deliberate. Wanted that ugly, been punched in the face look that you don't always see on military minis form some companies.

Ah, maybe he was the runner up in the regimental boxing championship?  :D

Seriously though, these guys look great. Love the female trooper too.

All great stuff Andy :D have you thought of having the crabman on 4 legs similar to the scythe arm? would lower his centre of gravity, and make him more bestial allowing you to do your bipedal crabmen more how you imagined them without wasting that damn fine sculpt... :D

Wow great stuff!

The pally looks a little like Don Quixote to me (I live near Alcalá, the birth place of Cervantes and there are statues of Quixote everywhere).  Having said that, he looks very cool.  I wonder what he would look like as some kind of Space Paladin.

I´m going to have to purchase some of your troopers dude!  I was wanting some humans to be a part of my Grymn Mercenary force.  I was looking at getting some Plastic GW guardsmen, but yours look much cooler (and I´d rather give my € to FoD companies)  Any ETA on when they´ll be in production?

Well, if you dont think the bare-head is right, and you intend them as a future British Army...  You could always go with a Beret.

Nice work, Andy.  I particularly like the Crabman.  If you're looking for inspiration, there's an excellent drawing of a Crabman in Necromancer Games' Tome of Horrors.  If you can't track one down, let me know and I'll send a scan.

The sci-fi troopers look great, but you won't find many soldiers who tie their boots with neat bows at the top like that!
