Random Chat / Re: So what are you planning on getting from the Kickstarter?
« on: September 04, 2014, 11:18:00 AM »
Well, it went up to Pantheon with an additional £150 on top...

Winged Netherlord 1, Ner'Gabba, Giant... Beyond that, still pretty stumped!

I got in at Pantheon (EB) and have since stuck another £50 ontop, may increase. Really don't know what to get though... I have quite a load of Andy's stuff already, may have to make a list before too much time has passed.

Holy CRAP!... I've wanted one of these for freaking ages.
Me too! I'm going to snap one up for my "Yeah, I may paint this one day, when my eyes are fixed and I no longer shake when painting" box.

If it is an April Fool, then it's a super mean one.

It's been gone for more than a month, I assumed I'd missed some sort of announcement.

As Prodos Games seem to have acquired the AvP licence, might it be a bit risky for Andy to make another Hürn right now? :(

I'd either go with some not-Necromunda gangs, the Trench-coats are great and have a strong feel of their own, but can easily be used as Necromunda Delaques (I assume you know this...)
So Not-Escher Punk Chicks, Not-Goliath 'Roiders, Not-Orlock Truckers...

Recently I have been playing alot of Fallout, the Mad Max/Post Apocalypic Wasteland Gang style really appeals to me as well.

I know I've said it on a different forum, but that really is amazing.

My local didn't have them either, unfortunately I didn't think to ask on here on Saturday!

There was going to be a sniper team but it stalled. At the minute it consists of one one-armed female trooper lying on the ground.

I know I guy that's into that sort of thing...  :erm:

I think there is a whole section in FAQ on the Heresy site that says about 10 times that he won't/can't make the Mk1 version any more.
That's what I thought, otherwise I'd be pestering as well...

I voted Netherhells.

I'd support either of them to be honest, but I think there are just so many Sci-Fi Troopers out there, that regardless of how good yours are (I own about a dozen of them), they have tough competition. And so many people seem to want to use a manufacturers own miniatures in their games. I know people that would only use Games Workshop miniatures for 40K and think that it's against the rules to use nicer miniatures...

With a games system rather than just the toys, people will see it as a product that they are allowed to use, but can mix and match with their current miniatures if they want to.

You should have high pledge levels to have named characters sculpted in peoples likeness and named after them.

Boyes in York and Goole have the Vallejo paint range, you could check out the ones closer to you? (Doncaster, Newark, Kirby in Ashfield & Arnold).

I actually thought I'd taken the NL2 offline as it needs all new moulds and it wouldn't cover the costs of making them. Turns out I forgot to do that or something and now I'm spending the entire day trying to squeeze a usable one out of the perished moulds to no avail as someone has ordered one, to my surprise!

You very nearly had to make two, but I ordered a bunch of small things instead.

Woot, only another 80-sum to go! :)

I will most definitely buy some Waspquitoes if you do finish them off. (Also I still want that disappeared gaoler!).

Put my name down, though I'm usually pretty poor at finishing this kind of thing...

"Revengers" is also IP of Marvel Entertainment.
I didn't know that.
That's ok, Marvel also has a character named Machine Man (Aaron Stack, currently appearing in the Hulk title).
Or that.

I was really just brainstorming.  :silly

I guess I'll just have to add them to my ever growing list of conversion projects I'll never do...  :blub:
