When can we has it?  :tantrum:

I gave summer bonus time a pass because I was waiting for this lady to come out (and then do one big order). Any chance we'll see her in the next couple of days?

PLEASE??    :notworthy:

Well, there is the one from Armorcast, which Sally & Kev had on sale with the band for some time:

Heresy - Announcements/News / Re: Use it or lose it. Heresy's future...
« on: August 27, 2011, 01:36:46 PM »
When I first registered here and had a proper look at Heresy, Spyglass etc. I thought to myself: Well, they share the forum, why the hell donīt they put the businesses together?

I really donīt understand why every mildly (or greatly) talented sculptor has to open his own webshop. So much time is wasted on logistics, they all live more or less on the minimum and we, the amateurs, often save up for one or two buys per year only (in order to avoid shipping costs and because of the small catalogue).

I would agree that outsourcing the casting is already a good step. Still I would even go farther:

Letīs for the sake of the argument pretend that Heresy Miniatures and Spyglass are incorporated into Hasslefree Miniatures.
Sally hires at least (!) one extra for packing and shipping. (While they are at it, they create a website that does not look like an example of early 1990s interweb history.  :P )

Boris, you pay your share for the logistics - and you get royalties for all Heresy Miniatures sold. But other than that, you concentrate on sculpting. Hasslefree will increase sales due to the larger portfolio, Sally has less troubles due to the extra hand they can afford, and everyone is happy.

You could even start to have shared product lines, like "60s Pulp: Agents in Distress", "Muscle Mountains", "Space station XR5" etc.

Kev and Sally went the right way with their White Metal range - that  idea should be expanded on.

Hasslefree Babble / Re: My self-made unofficial HF catalog (teaser)

Great job so far! Some of the paintjobs are so awesome it hurts...

In case you havenīt got them on your list (Äcouldnīt find them in the catalogue at least): "Mrs. Hasslefree X-Mas" (2004) and "Santaīs little helper" (SL2005), both OOP. There was also a face-lifted version of the missus one year later, if I am not mistaken.

the internet. Coolminiornot?

9:  Anything we could do better/ anything you think we are doing drastically wrong/ what you think we do so well that makes us better than anyone else?

1. The website. Browsing in your shop & the cart could be a bit more comfortable.
But on the other hand I like that mid-nineties feeling, pure html and the marble texture on blue...

2. Nothing! You are doing fantastic and I admire how you manage to keep a bunch of kids, the website, the sculpting, the production, the communication with customers & everything else up and running. And you are always so nice & friendly - you sure know how to handle whining boys!

3. Your miniatures are unique: a visual treat and often with a tongue-in-cheek kind of humour. I love that!
Plus: Your customer service is indeed the BEST.

10: Any other comments?

More fun miniatures! And all the best to you, get well soon & Thanks for all these lovely miniatures!
