Ooo tempted to convert that for fantasy. Love the coat. Maybe Kev will do a fantasy version?

Lovely! They look great. I like the bright clean paintjob and the neat construction. Reminds me of carcassone tiles.

The Computer Zone / Re: Played Minecraft
« on: April 05, 2014, 01:07:38 PM »
I love minecraft - its a game with infinite possibilities and they add new content every few months too. There are so many different ways to play it and always something new to discover. I keep coming back to it although my computer is not really fast enough to run it if not in peaceful mode which is a shame.

Heresy - Announcements/News / Re: NetherLord Mk 1 - Returning Soon
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:25:27 PM »
Oh yes..... This was the mini that brought my attention to Heresy, and via Heresy to the whole world of mini companies other than GW. I saw it in Harbringer years ago but didn't have the money at the time to actually buy it.  It will be amazing to own one of these - its really quite a nostalgic figure for me in a weird way.

I made one from a Tau Devilfish from GW - I think it fits quite well, fairly heavily converted - to my mind it covers most of your criteria Inso. Afraid I don't have a picture and its not with me atm.

Ideas for New Heresy Models / Re: Kickstarter?
« on: February 03, 2013, 01:47:15 PM »
I would love to see Netherhells come to fruition - I've been a Heresy fan for a long while now and it's been sad to see your fantasy output dropping off in the last few years. I haven't bought anything in a while and it would be great if that changed. A well handled kickstarter could be amazing for Heresy I think.
I think part of the success of Kingdom Death was the boardgame/miniatures fusion - it brought in backers from a much more diverse pool, many of whom had never bought miniatures before. The rules updates were tantalising and I think if you could get across the feel of playing Netherhells it could do really well. Your miniatures already speak for themselves.

Heres my progress on the base - its a cliff face with a ledge.... Perservering with the milliput (mostly cos I can't stand the idea of starting again) I've been using stones to try to give it a realistic appearence. Need to finish the rock texturing and add some details.

Hopefully it will look better when its all covered with milliput and painted...   :?

Hi Toosh, it's going very slowly! Struggling a bit with the base which is supposed to be a cliff face with ledge - I'm using polystyrene for the basic structure and milliput for the surface. Getting a rocky look and texture is hard though - starting to think I should have just used rocks! I'll stick up a pic of my (minimal) progress tomorrow if I can find a camera that works. Any advice on rock bases much appreciated! Painting too - it's starting to look like a large area of grey!

I was wondering about this too actually - do the sides of the slot in the base not obstruct the placement of a magnet?
