very cool  :applause:

My only slight criticism would be it doesn't look like he's gripping the carrot, just looks stuck on to the hand (to me anyway).

Very nice, great job. I don't like the green sword though to be honest, draws the eye away from the excellent paint on the demon fella, well does for me anyway.

Nope. Not touched a miniature or paintbrush since Salute last year which incidentally I really didn't enjoy. Mojo and interest pretty much gone  :(

As for jobs outside, I plan on working part time (possibly evenings/nights) in a supermarket to maintain my pension pot and then do volunteer work and fishing :).

Didn't know you were an angler Inso

The painting is brilliant as always and your style suits these perfectly but I would have liked to see a brighter red on the Red Barons plane. First time I've ever looked at your stuff and thought "you know what....."

Question for Artemis. If I've moved house since this thing started (I have just over a year ago) and changed email address (which I have, just over a year ago) who do I need to contact to make sure I get my package as and when it's ready please?

I have to agree really and I really hate to say it because I have only ever had good stuff to say about Hasslefree. Send the sculpts back, call it quits and have done with. I entered because we were originally going to get our sculpts cast, that changed and is no longer happening. I didn't go for the free armature option, paid for mine. I introduced a friend to Hasslefree via this competition, hate to say but he has no interest in spending anymore money with the company, only a small loss but still a loss.
I'm the first to admit mine is a steaming pile of dog do but it's my steaming pile of dog do, if it cant be cast can I just have it back please? This is sadly becoming the Hasslefree equivalent of the Heresy Dragon

You are easily my favourite mental

4 Heroclix rebased and repainted to varying degrees of success, you literally have to paint the detail on some of them. Anyway the following 4 are all Villains, let me know what you think (and yes I know the pics aren't great but neither are my photography skills, should at leat give you and idea of what they're like though  :))

Mordrax is an alien from an unknown planet. Why or how he came to be here is unknown but what is known that he has caused chaos and destruction wherever he appears. He is a known master of the mind and is able to control multiple targets at once and make them to do his bidding. He is also a scientist of genius level and has made more than one construct to fight for him and act as his security.

Deton-8 is one of Mordrax sentient android constructs made from an unknown alien metal. Capable of independent thought it is a formidable foe and fiercely loyal to Modrax. It is rumoured that there is more than one of these constructs guarding Mordrax various lairs but as yet that hasn't been proven. Armed with twin blasters that can fire a variety of ammunition Deton-8 is a force to be reckoned with.

Boa is a violent criminal and while he possesses no natural super powers he has been recruited by Mordrax and fitted with a variety of weaponry and gadgets. His suit is resistant to extremes of temperature and almost impervious to bullets. His main armament is a retractable metal whip, (made from the same alien metal as Deton-8) which he can use at range and also control, via an implant that Mordrax provided, and use to constrict and manipulate objects. The whip can also discharge a massive electrical shock to any it touches. (I realise this back story is similar to Constrictor from the Marvel universe but I liked it so stole it. It is also the base miniature for Boa)

Hellfire is more well known for working with his adopted brother Brimstone. Brimstone however has been incarcerated since his defeat at the hands of Yin-Yang. Hellfire has made it his mission to free his brother and to seek revenge over Yin-Yang. Most recently Hellfire has been seen working with Boa which ties him in with Mordrax but to what extent it is unknown. Hellfire can control fire and all heat sources and is also armed with twin fuel injectors that he uses to literally add fuel to the fire. Not particularly smart he tends to act before thinking which can make him an unpredictable foe. (and yes he is similar to Pyro that the is the base miniature for him)

The Colouring-in Room / Re: Superhero Projects.

Nice. Coincidently I've just finished a sentient robot that is quite similar in style to that one (a Heroclix repaint). Hopefully I can get some pics tomorrow. Mine is a bad guy though

First lot of painting done in ages, pretty happy with how they've turned out, got a bit of a supers bug now but only 1 more to paint. Looks like Salute is going to be Supers themed for me this year (if I can find some funds from somewhere  :()

Those cartoon Dungeons and Dragons miniatures are the only kickstarter I've ever been tempted to buy in to.

Surely that's enough?

What's the point?

It's not fun anymore...

UNDOD 2013 / Re: UNDoD 2013 Voting Thread.
« on: January 03, 2014, 08:09:26 PM »
It is 92 votes... not everyone will have voted twice (even though it was clearly stated that you can)... it is just what happens.

I voted, but only once. With only 4 entries I really didn't feel the need to vote twice

I think you just have to go in expecting it to be nothing like the book then as a film it's fine. I enjoyed it and will happy to go and see the 3rd part using the same mindset :)

How do you tell your boss the reason you have no idea what she just said is because you were thinking about what colour a trolls nipples should be?

"Sorry boss, I was wondering what colour your nipples are?"

Oh dear, sexting is about to take on a whole new dimension.
  :lmao
Y'know, those sorts of pics are often close-ups of certain areas of anatomy. Sounds like a very practical use for a 3D printer, assuming the material is rugged enough for, er, abuse...

I don't know, at my age 24 minutes is a long while to hold that kind of pose!
