Suggestions (HF) / To go with Delphine

A female Skeletor, perhaps? Possibly even a male Teela and Evil-Lyn (Evil-Tim, of course!)?

Non-FOD minis / Can you identify this mini
« on: November 24, 2011, 03:11:09 PM »
I'm guessing it's one of "our" Kev's (as the base says "Kev W" and there can't be too many mini sculptors with that name and last inital, surely) and it's from Target, but that's all I know. I got it in a bag of random minis years ago in a gaming shops closing down sale, but I've never been able to find out why it's a barbarian with some sort of poered hammer!

Sorry it's a bit blurry...

Hasslefree / Grimdalf & Heyu - A Paint Blog
« on: November 24, 2011, 02:55:16 PM »
I bought Grimdalf and Heyu a few weeks back to paint for my fiance as part of her Christmas present and they've been sat around on my table staring at me since then, so I figured the best way to get them done is to start a painting blog. Given that this forum is friendlier than most places and that the minis in question are from here, I thought here was the perfect place to do it!

Okay, here goes. Got them prepped. I really hate cleaning mold lines and trimming flash, so it was a joy to find that that these two (as well as the other HF minis I bought around the same time) were pretty easy to sort out! Here they are blutac'd onto a shoe box lid ready to spray white.

And a close up of Heyu with a Hero Quest barbarian.

Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday will bring the first post with paint!

I'll warn you now that I'm not very good, so don't go expecting 'Eavy Metal standard or owt.

Suggestions (HF) / Nuns with Guns

How about adding some Nuns with guns to the Adventurers range so they can destroy the walking dead for the Lord? Or a seperate range all together?

Suggestions (HF) / A suave Christopher Lee-style vampire?
« on: November 11, 2011, 02:09:39 PM »
I've just bought the Insane Man in a Straight-Jacket mini in order to paint up as Renfield for my fiance' for Christmas and I'd love a Dracula-style mini to go with it. All the vampire minis I can find are either far too fantastical or look like Bela Lugosi and I'd love a Christopher Lee-a-like done by Kev to go with the Insane Man!

Hello! My Name Is... / Ahoy Ahoy!
« on: November 11, 2011, 02:06:19 PM »
Hullo, everyone!

I'm Matt, a long-time lurker and fan of Hasslefree. I'm into horror, sci-fi and fantasy in books, films and games. I'm a pretty average painter of miniatures, but I do it because it's fun and I enjoy it, rather than for acclaim. I like to play Necromunda when I can and am planning to create a Chaos Cultist gang using non-Citadel models (aside from weapons...).
