General Ranting / first ever riding lesson :-)
« on: May 23, 2012, 09:00:40 PM »
I had my first ever riding lesson yesterday. My wife has an Arab which she keeps at a riding school anyway as an anniversary present she booked me some lessons. I tend to help muck out and have helped walk in hand some of the younger students. I just never rode before. I wasn't expecting much from my first lesson. I'd witnessed plenty of nervous riders and seen some having to be led in hand. Not me as it turned out the instructor had me doing rising trots after ten minutes and standing upright at trot as well as some basic dressage moves. She even threatened to take the stirrups of  which according to my wife is a good thing. I think I may have gotten the bug :-)

General Ranting / What's everyone listening to?
« on: November 18, 2009, 07:49:37 PM »
I wonder what sort of music everyone listens too? Do you have different types for painting, gaming and relaxing?
I'll start the ball rolling with Covenant - We are the men and Rammstien - Fur Frie and a bit of trancendental for relaxing.
