I've pledged enough for a Spined Netherlord and a Fallen One, but I'll probably up that a bit before the end and swap the planned Fallen One for a few other gribblies. I wish I had the spare money for the Pantheon but the kids gotta have school uniforms, damn them for growing!

I'm using plastic sanding needles to get rid of the mould lines, its not as quick and easy as a file on metal but it doesn't leave behind the same stringy bits that my files had been leaving.

A quick headcount shows I have some extra NOVA troopers, which is nice but they can just live in a box with the rest of them. Cthulhu and Nethyrmaul look awesome just through a dry fit build.
I'll need to boil a fair few of the figs to sort out bent sword or inadvertent limbo dancing, but I expected as much.

If you wait a little bit it will be available in 'Bones' material and thus a lot cheaper.

... could only find spritz action fresh, sad time for me but happy Ozone layer.

AFTER THE PARTY might be a fun one, although some might see it as a bit limited I suppose.

Elkhor or Boaris or Verdant, its tough to come up with anything that doesn't sound cheesy.

Lovely figure btw.

I love that mini :)

The Mordheim ogre might suffice? Although its more of a peasant look than you seem to be after.

I love that, very cool.

25mm grids are very much a part of 4th ed D&D, and the next iteration (D&D Next) is having 'battle grids' as an optional module.
Given how much Dwarven Forge stuff sell thier stuff for there must be a sizeable market out there and any things better than the shoddy floor plans Wizards of the Coast release.

The company I used to work for has a technical centre in Dachau; the first time I went there for work I felt obliged to visit the camp, it was the most sobering experience of my life.

people withdrawing bids on Ebay when they weren't winning anyway! aaargh!  :swear:

I tend to go for blueish tones, toning it down with a bit of bone in the mix, ending with an ice blue and bone top tone.

I'm very impressed with the uniformity of your units, its something that I can't get anywhere near, no matter how hard I try.
I'll second the praise for the banner too, very nice.

Mine comes up with my Ebay profile or an image I use on another forum for an avatar. Mind you, I've been using this 'handle' since my Everquest days, so its no surprise really
