"Okay," Sam Elliot's voice grated quietly. "When we go in we spread out and take 'em all down. No one hijacks a church on my watch. Dionne go left, Harby you take the right... Now put your boot to the door, son, we're goin' in!"The full diorama: The evil minions in focus: A better shot of the good guys: An inside view from above: An outside view from above:

A few more detail shots. Firstly some firelight on Dionne: Next a view in over Sam’s shoulder: 8 out of 10 henchdemons gave this as their number one reason for not lurking behind the Dread Portal:

8 out of 10 henchdemons gave this as their number one reason for not lurking behind the Dread Portal: Judging from the pic at least 1 out of 10 is no longer able to agree... Quite like that diorama of yours. So far the poor lurker is my favourite element from the DODs posted allready.

Loving the splatted Lurker. That must have been a hell of a kick to the door! The coours on the Lurker anr really creepy as well. The whole thing is great and really captures the sense of "Huh"? from the demons. Brilliant.

I love the humor in this piece. the splatered demon behind the door is very funny. My eight year old son thought that was great (sick pup) . The flames are nice too. Where is that gun man from, the one at the back? I like him but I don't recognise him.

Boot-squidge!!! Brilliant Excellent scratch built scenery and really well painted figures all go together to tell a really good, instantly understandable story. You should be really proud of yourself for doing such a clever piece .

I may finish the "counterpoint" SG single mini DoD I started to go with this. Imagine this one is the last panel on the penultimate page of a comic book. You know? The one that is usually a half page in size? The counterpoint is the final cliffhanger splash page you turn over to from that, the "reveal", what the heroes see (and incidentally for BM's benefit, the reason Harby appears to be skirting "his" baddie). So far it consists of a mounted circle of the same flooring, a part completed altar, an under coated Emli, the dismembered body that comes with the Heresy ghouls and an old HF baggy filled with Procreate sculpted body parts, intestines and general gribbly bits. It will be entitled "No... Not really."

Love the splattered lruker and the overall layout does give that kicked in door, "Fan out!" in motion as the protagonists prepare to take out the baddies.
Excellent job all around.
