I can't believe how few people have apparently entered this year.

(I know I've had it pimped on the front page of my site since the announcement...)
Such a huge prize up for grabs! Perhaps we shouldn't bother next year? Such a level of disinterest!

Anyway, if you are still thinking of entering, you have until 1st November AM, to get your pics posted either in this section of the forum or emailed to one of the judges if for some reason you don't want to put them online immediately. Which we will do anyway, so you might as well in the first place and save us the effort.

There are currently four entries competing for the top three prizes in the main contest, the Diorama of Doom, and only one in the sycophancy section and single mini.

I'm trying, I'm trying! I've got 6 minis to finish tonight and some OSL! This whole "new job" thing and some personal problems over the past month threw my schedule down the dunny. When's the deadline? Is it midnight tomorrow? *runs off to check the details*

i was surprised that i was the first to post finish pictures, and was alone for a few days, i was sure lots of people would have finished by now, but perhaps like Al said, there will be a last minute rush tomorrow what with it being haloween....

Hey! Hey!! I just clocked out of work to put this post up cos Peter told me about your thread! Do not panic Mr Mannering

There are lots of people interested in the DOD, myself included! This year I didn't do any WIPs - I thought I over did it last year, so I reigned myself back in.

Weirdwolf and I have been swapping DOD updates, so it's all been going on in the background I promise! I know that I sent in another set of photos for another entry, but I just haven't had the 'mojo' to even start on that one yet. My mojo went missing on a grand scale, hence why I'll be joining the gang of Fodders who will be painting till the wee hours to catch up!

I also have an awesome idea for a conversion involving all four companies - I even ordered the models too, but I just haven't got around to it. Maybe I'll still do it and post it up to show you that we do care

It's gonna be a cool comp - there are some grand entries already and come tomorrow evening, mine will hopefully join them (paint, mojo and models willing)

Perhaps you'd scare less folks off with a painting contest - no paintslaves, girlfriends of paintslaves, anyone with Neilsen in their name or Fluffy's allowed

I will really really try to enter that one. After about a dozen that I wanted to enter but missed out on in a row...

I do have an entry for the single mini for this compy but it is at home and I am in the office until friday night so I won't be able to get decent pics until after the w/e - gotta love my timing and organisation

Conversion contest? That's good, I can't seem to find the nerve to paint (not that I have enough free space on my desk anyways) but converting stuff's ok.

... then promptly couldn't be bothered doing it.

nah, tiranti...... it was convenience, i needed some bits and bobs so i bought 6 brushes too.

Andy was out of green stuff so were several other places..... I'm running short on brown stuff too, so as soon as it's in stock, I'm ordering some

i'm not out of green. brown or procreate stuff. They're all in stock. Wish I'd known, I've just posted your pre-order and could have stuck some in there.

when i made the order the website said out of stock for green and brown.... i was going to buy some

So why can't you enter Frank Cisco into the single category?! Everyone knows that you only just got him and recently painted him. I am sure it would be allowed - pop him onto a base and off you go!! (Hopefully any of the DOD judges would be able to confirm this

)

I don't see why you couldn't.

The figure came out after the start date, so it's not like you painted it years ago.

Mine will be going up tomorrow afternoon once I've taken the photos. I was going to put them up today, but I got diverted by something else and it was too dark to take pictures by the time I finished.

Am I reading the rules right, Andy, when you say it's OK to send links to pictures on places like Photobucket rather than sending the pictures themselves to you as an attachement on an E-Mail? Hope so because I'm hopeless at sending attachments...
