Pork scratchings...but don't tell Peter. I'm not supposed to eat them anymore    I get mini addictions, like when I open a packet of Chewits I absolutely must eat them all as fast as possible. I've got one in my mouth and I'm frantically unwrapping another so I can shove it in just as I finish, then grab another to unwrap etc

I must also echo a strong appreciation for Bakewell Tarts and those Tunnocks Caramel wafers....in fact I really like the pink ones you get in tins of assorted biscuits too.  I might also have to fess up on my main addiction...  "Hello, my name is Tracy and I'm addicted to sugar-free polos..."  well actually any strong mints, like Trebor XXX Strong, Tic-Tacs etc. Just love that minty hit    BUT...I'm pleased to say I haven't had a packet of polos for about a month now (I could easily pop 3-4 packs a day) - so nice not to have that 'windy, bloaty' feeling anymore.....

Still, if Ricky stays off the wacky backy and doesn't get trodden on again (his comeback last season was a very soggy three-ish quarters of the Monday night game in Pittsburgh), we've got a decent back field with him and Brown (and we only got blown out in a couple of games last year - including Steven Spielberg, sorry, Bill Belichek  running the score up on us in the first meeting).

I'm reckoning 5-11 for us for this year (rest of the East - Pats 13-3, Bills 8-8, Jets 7-9), and I've got to admit though, I think we're looking for taking Tim Tebow in the draft next year if he declares for it.

Still, it could be worse, we could be the Raiders.

Vikings are going to win it all, great running game, improved defence with Jared Allen (going to be sack leader for NFL this year) to dominate. Question marks over Tavaris Jackson at qb but if Eli Manning can do it why not!

i like pork scratchings and believe it or not i still haven't tried a pint of brains even though i live in Cardiff.... i will someday  i seem to always be a wimp and drink coke, i've never been served alcohol because i don't look old enough even with ID

Hmmm....pork scratchings.  How to explain it nicely. Oh yeah, got it - grated pig    Basically its pork crackling as you would get on a joint of pork for your Sunday roast. Except, there's none of that nasty stuff like the meat, just the crackling.  Gosh, I can feel my heart constricting as I type....

I used to do that with Fizzy Chewits...

I could've mainlined fizzy sweets when I was wee(er).  Fizzy chewits, refreshers (Matlow's and Bassett's), wham bars, tangy bars, etc. etc... and the king of the acid hits, the Roy of the Rovers bar.  I still get a Pavlovian response thinking about it.

Tried an experiment at work last night - i bought a packet of pork scratchings and they tasted pretty rank !  Had roast pork for lunch today with hot crispy crackling dripping with fat and loads of salt and apple sauce - heaven ! 
Caramel wafers don't taste like I remember them from when I was young or maybe I'm just getting old.....

Passing addiction is Mario Kart on the Wii, I'm on there 3-4 hours a night, every night. It's probably my biggest hurdle to overcome so that I can actually fit all the other stuff in that I want to do.

Sculpting bug has bit again after a two month gap, but it's sooooo slooooooooowwwwww... might be related to the hand injury I got from punching the wardrobe four weeks ago. Bloody door swung out and hit me on the forehead, so I hit back  I wouldn't recommend it.....

Dietary addictions: Nutella (yummy!), mirto (a liquor that is typical of Sardinia), pesto (a sauce that you use on spaghetti, made of ground fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, garlic and olive oil) and the lemon-flavoured tea from the dispenser machine we have at work, although I doubt it has ever been an actual leaf of tea (it's probably just flavours and chemical stuff, but tastes great!)

Other addictions: e-Mule (could watch the files downloading for ages), World of Warcraft, silly online games, miniatures (although the budget for that has definitely plummeted down), RPGs, fantasy books, crafts in general (temari is my favourite at present).

And yeah, sleep...

On the haunted fish tank, I'm plowing through the new Battlestar Galactica seasons (which is cutting into my badly needed sleep, having youngsters. But what the frak).

Hmmm, where to start? Well I brought back 4 addictions from Peru: Cusquena Negra (beautiful dark ale, which you can't get in Australia  ), Salty bananas (banana crisps, don't knock 'em 'till you've tried 'em! ...can't get these, even in Chile, which is right next door! and certainly not in Oz) Inca Kola (toxic yellow fizzy drink, can get this from specialty importers) ...and strangely enough Fox's Glacier Dark sweets from over where you lot live, thanks to one of my fellow trekkers (who was obviously a Brit) ...mmmm, sambuca flavoured lollies! Can't get them in Oz either without importing a box full from the UK for a small fortune in shipping.

And finally, suffering withdrawal symptoms from long overseas holidays. Real life is incredibly surreal after 2 months on the other side of the world in a non-English speaking country with a massively different culture and amasing things to see.
