1:  Send them to me at  libbytheaxe@yahoo.co.uk

2:  Jpeg format is preferable please.

3:  Thumbnail needs to be 100 x 100 pixels

4: I am quite happy to edit the main images if you arent too sure what to do but it may take me longer to get them up if you send me 20 different views to choose from!

5:  The main pic(s) need to be uncompressed and the maximum width of the pic needs to be between 275 and 350 pixels for a single pic and up to 400-425 pixels wide for a montage .  Length is up to you so you can stack pics on top of each other but preferably dont get the total image file size over 100kb.  this is flexible so if you arent sure just send it anyway and i will see what i can do.

6:  All pics in with me by the weekend will be up by the following weekend, sooner if

a) i am well
b) the kids are well
c) the childminder is well

Hungover.

No fun in that!

@Sally - I'll try and make my pics user friendly, but most of the time I'm lucky if they are n focus let alone correctly packaged :)

I think the thumbnail has to be set at 100x100 pixels.
Even if it doesnt have to be that "technically" it is better to keep them all the same size from an aesthetic point of view.I know from when I did my own site it looks more organised and professional.
Hows this one

This might be a rather silly question, but does this mean that I should e-mail you pictures before posting them in a new topic?

These guidelines are for the Hasslefree website gallery which is seperate to the forum gallery. Feel free to post your painted figures in the forum as new topics in the gallery section.

is the HF gallery still being maintained/updated?  None of my submissions last year got added. ..  if it is a dead part of the site then I'll stop sending them. If they are still wanted, I'll send my latest.

Cheers.!

I was wondering the same thing myself. I sent pictures of my Mary (2nd place in the GenCon Indy manufacturer prize, behind Jeremie Bonamont) but they never made it to the gallery, so I didn't send my Ashlee Campbell.

Both my Mary and my Ashlee Campbell are in the Hasslefree gallery (not sure when they showed up, but they have been there for at least a few months).

I noticed just before Christmas that my Gen had been added, and I didn't even request it.

I guess it must be occasionally updated on the QT.

yes, that is the same Ashley Campbell

(and the Mary was the Hasslefree Mfg Prize 2nd place at GenCon Indy - right behind Jeremie Bonamont's Artemis)

Is it Sally who's running the gallery? Or maybe I should re-send the pics to someone else?
Or is the project suspended?

the project isnt suspended. I dont update the gallery and havent done for the last couple of years, instead i rely on a couple of other people to do it for me when they get a chance.  Unfortunately as i have become more ill it is something that i just cant manage along with everything else.

I am sorry if anyone is upset with the situation, We had someone updating the gallery for us and as far as i was aware it was still being done.  A lot of the gallery pics are still on the server but havent been assigned into categories recently as all of them are linked into the shop codings and we are juggling the shop around.

I cant remember which topic i posted it on but i did say a while back that everything was up in the air with the gallery because of the codings changes.

Upset? Naaah, just wanted to know if I should keep posting the pics to you, or maybe send them to somebody else, or maybe not bother at all...

I know about your health problems and wish you all the best and I hope your health gets better in some time. Fingers crossed...
