I started this guy a while ago *cough* in 2005 actually. I dug him out and decided to get him finished off 'cos I have a soft spot for this guy :)  I was having a look through a bits box and found a great slave girl and that is when the trouble started 'cos now I can't decide which 'scene' I like the best and that is where you guys come in!

The original idea - him looking like a fat-cat with his big cigar etc and with his trusty squig at his side, my caption for the diorama "Da Loan Arranger"

The new idea - still a fat-cat kinda guy, but this time as a "Slave Trada".  Love the 'Princess Leia' type slave at his feet.

So this is the dilema - which one should I go with??  Here are a couple of pictures to help :D

Thanks in advance for your help and votes!  ps If you need pics from different angles I can do a link to those if it will help :D

:applause: :jawdrop: Brilliant conversion, I'd personally would go for the squig but then again I've never liked those 2 chained ladies.  The squig I'd have used was the one frm the Ork warboss lurching forward at a poor victim.  but then again thats me.  I vote for big teeth :D

Looking at the way the poll is currently going, I going to have a dig through my squigs and see if I have a suitable leaping one as per Reaperman's suggestion   I'm now thinking of him more as a debt collector - he's come for his money and the 'customer' is balking at making a payment so he has sent in his squig as a little 'persuasion' tactic :D

I like squigs! So I voted for one of those.

I have quite a few of them so if there is a particular one you are after Toosh then I'm happy to send it over to you if you want it. I have too many minis as it is and you'd make a nice job of it.

this is my 3ed time at tying to put this on for you as I think the Forum of Doom is playing up. :tantrum:

I my be mad but why not do both of them just get a bigger Base for him.

I was thinking you could have one squig eating a dead Slave girl as she was bad  ( just have it to one side of the Base ).

Then have his trusty squig at the side of his feet and one other Slave girl on the other side of his feet.

you could sit the other Slave girl on a gold treasure chest and his trusty squig under her feet or sat with his head on her lap.

just me thinking.

As the most Orky thing on the forum, and the most "proppa" to comment on it I think it should be squigs.
Oh and for a finishing touch a nice presentation box and post it to me :D

Not that GW have Fluff-Police who'll come bash down your door, but in WH40k orks are supposed to be genderless fungi! So I voted Squig.

Here's a pic of the back of the model, with a couple of mischievous snotlings

I really want to get going on this model, so I'll leave you lot to debate the slaves vs squig thing for another day while I get going on the main guy!! :D

I have nothing against squigs, but I think that one is probably one of my least favourite.

I was thinking, if you give him the slaves he could be Jabba da Gutt.

LOL....good name :D  I do have a few squigs, so I'll be looking for one that fits the bill. Reaperman has already suggested a leaping one, which I think I have.

@ Cap'n Sprout - thanks for the offer!  If I get stuck I'll pm you  Thank you!

Loving both ideas but "Da Loan Arranger" is such a good name. Squig it up.

I like the idea of girls. I think he's got a slave trader look to him. Reminds me of The Hunchback from Hawk The Slayer (okay, so no one ever liked that film but me). Although I'd be slightly tempted to go GS crazy and deck him out Antonio Fargas style in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka. Bring on the dodgy animal skin print flares :)

Hey, he looks like an enterprising boss type to me, why not do both?

Squig on one side, girl(s) on the other.

Maybe the squig could be menacing the girl - or fawning over her?

squig for me too but not that one, one of the cave squigs would work better for me.
