Painting guides
« on: September 21, 2009, 12:22:56 PM »
Okees, need to get some new painting guides.

Have got some already

http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/nubiantutorial.php

http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/strykertutorial.php

http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/kjarantutorial.php

but need to add to these please.

What i need is something along those lines.  Figure choices still to be decided.  Bases not too fancy.  You don't have to be a perfect 10/10 painter but they do need to be good as the pics will be used in advertising and the figures in with show display figures.  I need pics at various stages in all aspects and detailed write up.  I can edit the text and pay it out for you, so notes is just fine.

If you are interested in earning some HF credit send links to work you have already done and which figure you would want to paint and why

ta lots

Sally :)
A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

If Dwartist doesn't read this, you may want to contact him, as he has recently done a step-by-step wip of KJ:

Likewise!

If you need pix of painted armies or even an idea of how I painted them (with a view to army building), then I could eventually knock something up...but it won't be 'master grade' by any stretch of the imagination !

I'm kind of interested, if only I can get some decent photos of some old models.

Hi There I would love to do a painting guide for any of your awesome Dwarfs
http://i694.photobucket.com/albums/vv302/exilesjjb/barbarian.jpg
this is my latest figure. As to why it will be very good practice for me as I am starting the Cheshire Painting Group in Nov when I hope to pass on my skills to anyone who will sit still long enough :D
As to why the dwarfs well they have always been my fav and having seen yours at Derby will be painting them all soon anyway.

I could certainly paint something for you.

Tempted by Taxxis and Death.... the version with her riding him.
Its in my to do pile.
Probably be a casual entry for Salute as well.

Interested?

Nigel
