Apparently we do
In the war-torn darkness of the future, there is only Grymn.

Deep Space Nine: Officially not as good as Stargate.

If you field an overwhelming force against a paltry number of defenders, whatever you do, make sure the defenders are not English!

Wouldn't that mean putting our phone number online though?

You can DM them, that means nothing to you, but Mark will know what it means.

Firstly, follow them, then just send them a message saying 'Our phone don't work, need you to follow me so I can DM details.'

Or you could phone BT from the workshop, I guess?

A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

I hate BT, when i was with them a few years ago i rang a call centre as the broadband wouldn't work when the phone was plugged in,

cue Mr call centre reading off his script telling me to plug my internet in (but I'll have to put the phone down on you buddy if i plug that in) then phoning me back to say that the phone line had gone dead while i plugged the internet in (yeah that is why I'm phoning you mate, it don't work when the internet is plugged in) then asking if i could plug the internet back in (again I'll have to put the down on you as THE INTERNET STOPS THE PHONE WORKING), and once again phoning me back to inform me that the phone had gone dead when the internet was plugged in (I KNOW FELLA THAT IS WHY I'M CALLING YOU  :swear:) after ten mins of this i accepted that they are idiots and that i was to resort to using my mobile anytime the broadband was plugged in

I keep getting follow up calls from a home heating service. (they use the air in the roof cavity to help heat the house) It really annoys me as I've told them at least twice now not to call me again and I've told them at least 3 times why. The guy that came to give the quote to us turned up 2 hours late, 1 o'clock instead of 11, he turned up massivelyt hungover and for some stupid reason he told us this. After we said we needed time to think about it he started to get really pushy and pretty much told us we are killing ourselves if we don't put this in because of mold etc (which may have some truth but there are definately cheaper just as effective ways) When he told us the price, which was larger than he first thought because of the larger size of our house (which isn't that big and which he measured with his feet) it came to about 5 grand. He then said that they had some really competitive interests rates with their lending company. Just from 19%. I told him we could just redraw from our mortgage if we needed that, a smaller 9% at the time. He said that that would cost more in the long run. He must have been recieving kickbacks or something. Normally I don't get angry with people invited to the house but I was almost an inch from booting this guy out on his bum.

People who rip you off when you do them a good turn - it was only 10 but the female in question has spent the last week avoiding me as she is in a worse financial situation than she was letting on - hell if she had told me what was going on I would have given her 50 ! Just don't lie to me saying you will give it back tomorrow when you blatantly had no intention of......... :grrr:

People that leave foot long, down to the metal, scratches on your car with no explanation and inexplicable punctures costing 140 plus vat.

Family that don't listen to a word you say, use social services and other family members to attack your wife and don't intend to apologise when they're proven wrong, and then turn round and ask you what you want for christmas as if nothing's happened.

I tell you, if those sorts of things had been happening to me right about now I'd be in a murderous rage.

Having ONE day off this week. Feeling rough as with bad cough/cold symptoms and not wanting to leave your bed when there's things you need to get done on this one day off and then having work phoning you.... FFS I've got one day off what could possibly be so damn important that it can't wait til tomorrow?!

People who offer to rent/loan me their equipment, and then act surprised when I try to take them up on it.  Are they just showing off their equipment?  I mean I did offer a fair rental deal...

Anyway, that's another business card for the bin, and me calling a professional rental house.

1:  Banner ads at the top of pages like yahoo that 'expand' as soon as you hover your mouse anywhere within a 2 mile radius of them thereby cutting off your access to the link you were originally after at the top of the page.

2: ads that expand across the page on a clear background so you go to click something and you end up somewhere completely different.  you can end up waiting ages for the ad to run before the little 'X' appears somewhere else entirely on the page for you to shut the window

At the moment I dont think I could begin to list what is pissing me off but mostly it has been wife, her behaviour and the consequences of it the likes of whihc would fuel a goodly script for Eastenders and at least a few Jeremy Kyles shows 8:::

Getting a phone call at 10:50 this morning from the social to let you know the carers you have hired to wash and get the wife up in the morning have closed with no warning at all. they then send a new lot out only to be told that one of them is male which didn't go down too well  :swear: to say the least
