Bad weekend... wife scraped car (against someone else's at shopping centre carpark), monitor at home died, chipped tooth.
Car: Not that worried about the car. It's nothing flash and isn't new. Only a few weeks ago some idiot rammed a shopping trolley into the driver's side door and paint work is also slightly damaged on the bonnet (thanks to birds ...and me being away and unable to wash off bird crap). All these little things are adding up. The latest is more annoying because it's a small dent and scraped paint and now I'll have to arrange to get it fixed (plus minor damage to other persons car). It will be an insurance job, but I can't imagine I'm going to get out of it without paying the $550 excess. Accidents happen and it's our first one in this car's life, so yep, more of a pain in the arse than anything.
Monitor: This will be a lot more expensive. I do a lot of photographic processing and I need a really good monitor. I've been making do with my old LCD, so in a way this is good news as I can finally upgrade to much bigger and a huge step up in quality ...for about $2000.

Tooth: I now have a tooth with a rough cutting edge. It's driving me slightly mad, but it's more of a smooth-off than cap job, so I'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. Might be a trip to the dentist if it doesn't wear itself flat quickly. More cash...
