Andy requested a non-black VaŽDurr. This is my take on it.
I think the warm, bright theme really brings something to the sculpt. I was trying to prove he could work as a dwarven technomage, and not just as a Vader joke.
The choice of a white background is a bit.. bad.. but I donŽt have access to anything better at the moment, so these pictures will have to do.
He is supposed to match up with the background fluff on the Heresy site:

Va'Durr was once an ordinary dwarf whose original name is unknown. He was one of the followers of Scy-Henns that live in the lowland hills of the north. He was born in Eden's Burg, a city renowned for its wondrous inventions even amongst dwarf kind and he was once foremost amongst the Scy-Hennsian priests, creating many miraculous devices. However, his lust for knowledge led him down forbidden demonic paths. He experimented upon other dwarves and later himself, crafting metal limbs to enhance his strength and replce his own fleshy ones. He was cast out of the lowlands and he eventually sold his soul to a Fallen One in exchange for sorceours powers and arcane knowledge. He gathered followers and enslaved many monsters, building a kingdom of hideous cyborg creatures and a population of cowed slaves...
