Sadie
« on: July 11, 2006, 04:12:05 PM »
Here goes my Sadie...

I couldn't simply copy excellent paintjob presented by Kai, so I had to come up with something different. I went for black leather trousers, and ... generally dark and gothic look.

She's pale because... because... well, maybe she spends too much time hunting at night or... maybe even a vampire hunter can have a dark secret  :paranoid2:

I know the base is too simple but I simply wanted it to match my remaining zombie hunters. The price of having them look well together.

Here she is, for you to criticize:

After another moment I can admit she doesn't look bad from the back

Nice!  Although it does look like an alternate dimension where Sadie is a vampire (with a soul of course!)  I hope she is wearing a thick t-shirt!

I quite like the bases actually, really dead looking grass, perfect for a horror winter.

reminds me of a T-shirt i saw on a web site once: goffy the chav slayer(in a buffy like font)

looks great, but i don't really like the pose of the mini, but thats not your doing  :? :jawdrop:

the hair is very nice, looked odd untill i realised the pink at the front is only a highlight-thingy 8) :boing:

Stunning stuff mate :damncool: :applause:
the face is amazing and i love the overall dark coloursceme/theme to her.
the only niggle i've got is that her t-shirt looks too similar colour to her flesh. (makes her look like she's got a pot belly in the 1st pic)
could just be a photo issue.
once again Amazing face

I really like the colours you've used, they really give the impression of a dark and stormy night. There's a lot of motion in the figure, so I think the base is fine.  You wouldn't want random obstacles getting in the way of all that vampire butt kicking goodness after all... :D

I like the color scheme. It looks good. I also like the base. After reading what lonewolf wrote I help but notice the potbelly he mentioned every time I look at it now.

Thanks, I agree the color of the shirt is too close to her skintone. And the paint looks rough there. :(
The colors look a bit more different in reallife, but on the photos they are denagerously similar to each other. Can't help it, so I have to live with it.

But you're right about the potbelly  now I can't help seeing it, too :P
