dynamic Ashlee
« on: July 09, 2006, 10:32:11 PM »
Ashlee is a great min, but a version with a bit more motion would be really useful.

Think about it, swinging that chainsaw around ready to rend someone (or something) limb from limb.  For the gamers out there she'd be a must have (in addition to the original).

i agree, i'd love to see some more dynamic versions of the zombie hunters and Ashlee swinging that chainsaw would be top of my list.

Think of the diorama potential as she slays Z Ray. Have her just coming out of a wide arc and we could add tiny GS blood spraying. Give her a ferocious face and wow!

I'm hopefully doing something like this with Kat.  Now I just need a victim for her - I was thinking Eliza, but I'm not sure how good that would look on reflection.

He is clearly doing that on purpose.  its the language filter.

meanwhile we all know that RB is the boards biggest advocate of LEET aka stup1d (hehe, also filtered), and could easily have replaced the o to "slightly c0cked to one side"

Since i'm a war gamer more than a painter, dynamic sculpts of the adventureers/zombie hunters would be a must have (and would make the Ashlee vs. Imogen diorama that I want to do possible)

moving away from RB's love of scenic typing, can everyone agree that dynamic versions of the various zombie hunter figures would be cool.

yes.  Yes they would...

But they would need to be a double base with a zombie victim...

Imagine Ray swinging his bat at the point of impact with a zombie head...
Ashlee about half-way through chansawing a zombie...  Starting at the soulder-blade..
Grant...  Well for some reason, Grant in my mind assumes the pose already taken by Spider in Heresey's range.  Although the b-plan is that the MAC-10 is out of ammo and he is forced to puch a zombie with the knuckledusters while trying to reload...
And Jesse.  This is fun.  I can see her swinging the hockey-stick upwards, probably impacting a zombie in the groin.  Amusing, nearly useless, very dynamic...  Either that or she has a hockey puck and is about to use it as a ranged weapon!

I'd be willing to pay extra for these...especially if they come complete with doomed zombie.

All very cool ideas, and yes, I think more zombies are also a must.  With a few more basic sombies to choose from, they wouldn't need to be on special double bases modelers could simply create scenic basis galore.  I have a full battle scene in mind, all of DanG's ideas but all on one large base.

Yub Nub.  Dynamic Zombie killing poses would kick ass, especially Ashley and Jess, Grant's lack of melee weapons makes it more difficult to get a great dynamic pose, but I'm sure that Kev would be able to do something to him.

^Well I like the previously mentioned reloading whilst swinging a knuckledust punch in. Sounds perfect and just a violent as Grant looks (making it a powerful punch)

I'd like to see Ashlee bringing the chainsaw down over her head.  Might be hard and obstruct the model some what, but it would so sweeeeet!
