fantasy football face mask

I seem to recall it being mentioned that there was some investigation into custom made etched brass?  Or was I imagining it?  Anyway, I thought what would be really cool is if the fantasy football all had standard helmets like Danni mk1 and you had an etched brass face mask sprue thing.

check out the different types here

I know AV modellers have been using such things to add detail to their armour kits.  Dunno if it will be too finiky though.  Just an idea

I have no idea about the costs of such things though.... so dunno if it is feasable...

The helmet's could be made to fit Kev's head sprue's or even add to them as a new range of head's.
This would mean you only need to do a head swap and a choice of helmeted head's means you could use the same figure in the same team a few times.
All you would need to do is move the arm's and leg's a bit and replace the head.

i think that as the masks would be etched brass, they could potentially be able to fit pretty much any human-sized helmet Kev is likely to sculpt

Its a brilliant idea that would be embraced by the FF community. (Well most of us anyways )

Heh, bumfudgeload sounds great.  I bet Andy had a ball making up the replacements.

Something like that would be cool enough that it might start me liking FF minis.  I'm not too keen on helmets that hid the face, and open or bare-headed are just different degrees of pointlessness.

It's a good idea

I prefer the chunky plate with holes masks for FF myself, but they could look really snazzy
