A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

Lucky me, I happened to be browsing as pages started to appear 'as if by magic'...

But surely the appropriate link is always present in the url button on Sallys sign-off?

Yes mate, although I haven't used the Ivy yet, the rest was really useful!  What are you priming the brass with?

Oooooh nice leafy things!   :D  :D
I don't even know what some of those plants are but I want them anyway! (even if I have some old etched brass leaves, and I've been wasting half of them while trying to handle them fiddly bitches... The tutorial is truly welcome!)

i had looked at it for a while but i knew it would be a nightmare to get up and running.  when i finally took the plunge and ordered stuff it took me 3 hours of deliberating to make sure i got it all within my budget...there was so much more i would have liked.

when it came through i was absolutely blown away, it is gorgeous.  i am not trying to 'sell it', it really is very very nice stuff.

if it sells well i will look at expanding the range and getting ideas from here on what others to add

You already know I'm after hemp leaves for my group's standing junkie elf player. Although, there's a suspicious-looking thing in the "long grass" sheet that might be just what I need... only the pic is too small to tell for sure...

Other nice additions could be: clovers (fairies, gnomes and so on just need them); Japanese maple (for the martial artists), waterlilies (I couldn't spot them in the "pond vegetation" sheet, but might be wrong) and olive for us Mediterranean people...

This is excellent news. I can only get a very limited supply of this stuff locally and it is always really expensive. I'll definately grab some when I make my first direct order (when that harem set is finished!!   ).

Mary turned up from CMoN t'other day. Looks nice, I'm going to push her up the painting priorities list...
Heron Island photos done! See blog...

A bit late, I know (glad they are selling well, Sally), but for anyone in any doubt, I have bought Scalelink etched brass stuff in the past and can vouch for the top-notch quality - the wrought-iron work (although not so useful in fantasy/SF settings!) has to be seen to be believed.
The website http://scalelink.co.uk/ is worth a look, but please buy from HF if at all possible to save them having to eat too many baked beans - the results could make Kev's workshop unusable!
