Maggotmen and Terror Grub
« on: September 02, 2016, 08:08:28 AM »
Maggotmen and Terrorgrub. Painted with Maggot White followed by red and green washes (flesh wash on the pooper) purple and purple wash for the chest area(?) and face. Gloss coat to finish off. Pretty happy with the results.
Terror Grub painted much the same way only I put some hot glue on the mouth and painted it with some TCR to give it the bloody look.

Fantastically icky-poo.  I like the veiny skin on the grub and the how the spine tips have the illusion of being transparent.  Guessing the adventurer it feasted on had a bad time of it.  Second to last picture, excellent depth on his face.  Looks great in all shots he is in.  They all look excellently squishy soft and nasty.  Well done.
I'm very much looking forward to getting mine in the mail.  I have assurances that it's all getting shipped out Monday Sept 5.  A colossal resin snow cap to the lead mountain.

Got all my stuff over the last two days.  Glorious amounts of grubbiness.

I didn't realize it at the time, but everything I pledged for was a gribbly thing.  Grubs, maggotmen, mites, lurkers, Madame.  I thought it was quite funny, when I realized it.

Then yes, yes I did.   It was all planned, yes. :paranoid2:
