Worldbuilding Diorama Competition
« on: August 28, 2014, 10:13:35 AM »
In an attempt to a) get customers browsing through more of the 900+ product entries and b) highlight for me what groups of bits might be worth repackaging into ready-to-build kits, I'm running a diorama competition with 100+ of vouchers and other prizes. Full details here:  http://fenrisgames.com/news/worldbuilding-diorama-competition

Too many ideas....way too little time.

First finished entry, by Sean Gillingham (who has the home advantage of working in the Dockyard and this being able to pop in and pester me for bits)...

385 views, and not one entry from the FOD. Disappointing, guys  :(

Winners, in order:

First - extremely well deserved, bonkers build, fully in the spirit of the thing: Steve's Copps Hill Mausoleum-based, plague cultist-inhabitied, Incursion doored nightmare:

Second - inspired use of bits by Sean Gillingham, playing with scale and using Dagon, Giant Hornet and mushrooms:

and Third, a nice, simple diorama by Sean's 8 year old daughter Hope using Nick Blinky and one of our Viking runestones:

100, 50 and 25 store credits plus shirts, mugs, etc to the above.
Too many ideas....way too little time.

Wow... first place really blows me away! Amazing concept, and very well-realized! Amazing stuff! Nice work by all the entrants.
