UNDOD 13 - Finished Diorama Photo Thread
« on: December 23, 2013, 11:19:03 AM »
Dunno if this is ok but I figured I'd create the finished diorama thread. I'll be posting mine up as soon as my camera ischarged again.

Feel free to delete/move this if it's in the wrong place or I trod on someone's toes.

And here is my entry, finished in the nick of time. After a day spent feverishly slapping paint, may I present
The Troll Hunter
Bryan the Blessed Paused at the crest of the ridge, slightly winded after his long climb. "Must Be Getting Old!" he mused softly, voice booming off the far side of the valley. "Last Time I Climbed A Mountain, I Hardly Ever Rested!"
Still, there was work to be done. The Locals told of an old Troll gone rogue, terrorizing the vally folk with endless renditions of Xmas songs by Slade. Most of the civilised peoples had long since been driven from the valley. Bryan had been tracking his quarry for days, but now the trail seemed to have gone cold. Still, that old Troll had to be near. To the trained senses of the seasoned hunter, the very hills stank of Troll...

Episode VII - The Last Pedestrian.

A week last Tuesday, not far from a certain forest moon...

The Emperor is dead. The once mighty galactic empire is in turmoil; it's elite forces destroyed by a rag tag bunch of amateur insurgents and knee-high plushies armed only with native spears and slip hazards. The catastrophic failings of the mechanised walkers were clearly exposed.

With the death of the last of the Sith, scientific rationalism rather than a quasi-religious kratocracy, is in resurgence.

Assuming command of the remains of the empire military machine, in a ramshackle maintenance hanger, the new leader, Kim Wrong-Un, commands that all remaining bipedal units are retrofitted with a more proven motive method...

Wrongly, I have been working under the impression that the deadline for the competition is midnight, rather than noon. Entirely my fault. I throw myself on the mercy of the judges.
Lots more pictures will appear this afternoon... (If only for my pleasure).

Only four entries this time... a terrible shame but there we go. Voting will start as soon as I put the voting thread up.
