Dr Payne

You may have seen this on the Heresy Facebook or Twitter feeds. Unless you don't use Facebook or Twitter, in which case you definitely haven't seen it, so here it is. I've thought of everything, you see...

Dr Payne joins the ranks of the Scientists & Civilians range (SCICIV010, codeaholics!) and will be in production on or before 8th November 2013 (hoping to get him all moulded and sorted before that but you have to put a definite date on these things). He'll come with a couple of alternate hands to replace his Probulator if you prefer, too!

Not only that, but I've put a whole-range Scientists & Civilians Deal on the store that allows you to buy the full set of ten figures at 20% off!

That deal can be found here, along with Dr Payne:

Plastic Fantastic - Your Input Wanted

As you will also have Not Seen on Twitter, Facebook and the Forum Of Doom, I recently had a chat with a chap in the business of plastic injection about getting some small plastic sprues made. It left me raring to go on a number of things I've been planning for years but had to put on the back boiler ever since I muttered the words 'A Dragon! That'll be a fun thing to do, and won't take long at all!'

Well, once that Dragon is at last in regular, predictable production, I'll need to get on with new projects at last and this is them. I've put a big poll of the things I want to do on the Forum Of Doom and I need you - and your friends - to vote for what you would like to see! You don't need to be a member, you can vote as a Guest, but if you do log-in you'll be able to ask any questions on there as well so I can iron out anything I haven't considered.

Find the poll on the FOD here:

MINOR DRAGON UPDATE

The other thing Mr Plastics and I talked about was the Dragon, and the problems it's causing, specifically with the torso. After much discussion and waving of components around to find angles, it was decided that I'm actually going about it the right way and probably a few minor things will sort out the issue of the spine tip-snapping that is currently happening. I'll be pouring a new mould next week in softer rubber, can't wait to see if things start working!

More news soon!

Cheers

:metoo: not into this doctor who malarkey.
Would look great with one of those pistols you have for the hangers actually. To me he's got a little bit of a western vibe. Quite a variety of genre possibilities actually.

Different Probulator, some sort of gun, is what I'm thinking. I haven't done them yet if any one wants to speak on behalf of anything in particular.

How about a pint glass. He looks in drinking pose. Otherwise a revolver of some type.

Along the same line of thought, maybe a beaker of unknown fluid, possibly bringing out the primal nature of the drinker or a brandy/wine glass because he's a more sophisticated drunk.

A holy symbol of sorts might be an option too.

Mine arrived this morning, along with the rest of my order. Two hand options, a classic series style sonic screwdriver and a gloriously retro ray gun with scope.
I'm slightly disappointed that there isn't a more contemporary screwdriver option, but overall it's a very nice piece. It's a good 'un!

Ran out of time - and didn't have a pic of what the new one should look like. I'll be doing a new hand for him after the 23rd; anyone who's got one of the Dr Paynes so far can get a free upgrade for their model in their next order after it's done.
