These fellas look like they have been mining some strange metals. My first attempt at "TMM" technique. Photos came out a bit dark so it is a bit hard to see.

The chaos dwarves have been abandoned for now. Latest project are the Wossailers of Zuuf. They are coming along OK but orange gowns requiring a lot of work.

Few more to add to their number. Also been doing some scenic bases with some Fenris shattered columns.

The oval base will be for Libby:

Its all a bit up in the air at the moment. The only thing really finished are the GW chaos warriors, a few monsters and the Barbarian warlord, which i have posted elsewhere.

Thanks Beefcake. Yes I have been spending quite a bit of time on this army. Unfortunately the unpainted hordes continue to grow as fast as the painted ones.

I like the choice of robe colors. Must be fun to paint.

Unfortunately the colours of zuuf are yellow and pink. I probably should have picked brown or something.

The naked woman is a naked cultist or some kind of camp follower, its a bit ambiguous. There will also be a barman and tavern wenches sort of caught up in the crowd but i havent painted them.

Having spent many many many hours on Libby I had a bit of a disaster when I dropped the table lamp on her and made a mess of the paintwork and bent the axe.

She was looking quite good too- best model i have painted so far. O well, I will put her aside and move on to something else for a while. Here is a group shot taken shortly before said incident but you cant see her very well. The highlingting doenst show up in the pic at all.

The leader of them is actually on the back right. She is Lanah the Damnably Lost, barbarian marauder wih poor sense of direction. Somewhere on their wanderings they aquired Gobbo the Barbarian, veteran but inept fighter and undisputed world marbles champion.

The sculptor is clearly a genius. Had fun painting it. Might go back and try again with glazes on the crystal ball though. I didnt really do it justice.

One day I will actually finish a miniature.

Just a quick update. At the moment i am painting some discriders. Will put up pic when i have finished, but I am going to mainly focus on putting up WIP pics of the Heresy/Hasslefree/Fenris stuff here.

I have also been preparing this

Lord Ulthrak visiting a chaos monolith. He is magnetised so that i can put him on a normal base if i want. Its my first experience of neodymium magnets. They are incredibly strong. A 2mm magnet in each foot and he is held fast. Lot of modelling still to do. And as always I am making it up as I go along so no idea whether it will work or not. Thought I might hang some couloured ribbons from the dead trees once I have done the bark.
