I was actually borrowing the names of real-world haunted houses, the Griffin's were (iirc) one of the first families infected in Salem's Lot...so, in a similar vein, upcoming buildings might be: the Marsten House, Hill House, Winchester House, Exham Priory, Eel Marsh House, The Lutz House, Overlook Hotel, the Kraighten House and Hershel's Barn....any more?

Ian

I think you have most names covered

112 Ocean Avenue  or 2a as its to scale. (The Lutz House)

Overlook Hotel.... heeeeerres Brumby muahahahaha

The Bates Motel would look too 50's.... but the Bates House would look great, but perhaps a bit too iconic

The onkly one I'd add is Croglin Grange. And, btw, kudos for the Eel Marsh House inclusion. One of my favourite stage plays.

Indeed. I'm trying to avoid direct rips of specific houses but using the names for flavour and a bit of an in-joke. So the Bates, Amityville or Marsten houses may not look identical to their on-screen relatives, but you'll get the right "feel" from them....

Wonder if it would be worth having extra sets containing just the building fronts with part of the roofs (+ maybe a bit of the side walls), a bit like low relief houses on railroad layouts. That way people could use them for various things from dioramas to placing them at the end of a gaming table as some sort of 3d backdrop, possibly even use them as ruined versions of the houses.

Funnily enough, a couple of people suggested/asked for something similar over on Facebook, and it's definitely in line for consideration once I've got a couple of buildings done....
