Merry Xmas. And happy new year.
« on: December 24, 2012, 10:30:52 AM »
Half an hour until Xmas for me. Just finished putting together a scalectrix type thing for my son and a ride on car for my daughter. Now I'm knackered. Tomorrow with the inlaws and the next day with my family.
I hope everyone on the fod has a merry Xmas and a happy new year.
So... What are other people doing to celebrate.

Drinking. Heavily. It's only just gone 11.20am Christmas Eve over here and Who Framed Roger Rabbit is on TV. I'm on my second pint of Snowball and am baking pies - apple pies and mince pies.

So... What are other people doing to celebrate.

Dinner with the in-laws tonight. Then, roast turkey and dinner tomorrow.

Merry Christmas folks.

Chill out this evening and tomorrow will be me cooking the family meal (venison and pork with red currant jelly and all the trimmings)... just me, my good lady and my two children.

Quiet... just how I like it :)

Happy Christmas everyone :D

Off to my sister's tomorrow. It's a two hour trip at the best of times, could be longer with this weather. But she does a good crimbo dinner.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Hoho, and remember, if they give you coal, they're helping you heat your home.

Don't drink and drive, be safe, and have a good one, or four or what have you.

It'll be fairly quiet here: El's with her parents, so I'm catsitting. Best to all and may there be hobby projects under the tree. I know I have one on the way and I got a vintage Star Wars figure in the post today.  :D  But yes, peace and happiness to all.

It's been Christmas for a bit over an hour, and I'm here at work getting overtime pay. Another 3 hours and I get to go back to bed and get paid another 4 hours of overtime (barring an emergency,) then go home, grab the Mrs. and Gearling, and head up to me mum's house for breakfast and a presents-opening frenzy with all the nieces & nephews that are in town, while the cat hides in the garage.

Fun stuff!!

Merry Christmas to you all.

Off to my parents for Christmas diner (I've done it the last 2 years) and a ton of presents for the kids to open.

Have a fantastic one everybody.

Merry xmas everyone. And in the spirit of all those who posted in the "happy halloween" thread a couple of months ago, might I just say that I hate xmas, it's overly commercial & I refuse to celebrate it with anyone. :silly

Happy new year one and all. I celebrated by going to bed early. 2 young kids are not conducive to New Years parties. :)
