Beefcakes UDOD The Last Goodbye
« on: December 19, 2012, 05:19:13 AM »
I started this about the same time Inso got onto his. Had the minis for ages but never did anything. Now that I'm on Xmas break and all my presses are sorted I've got some serious down time so I'm making a real effort at finishing this.
I've used a couple of my dungeon bases to put the minis on.  Need to chop the end off one so that it will fit the specifications. It's 150mm long but the diagonal measurement brings it over that.
Two goblins halfway done and the base almost complete. Should knock these off relatively quickly now.

Hmm lots of reflection of the sewer water at the moment. Will have to think about that when taking proper shots.

There may be some reflection, but it does make it look greasy and disgusting like sewer water ought to be.

Next pics. Not sure if ill get the walls done.

And another pic, rather than double posting

Still some touch ups to do on these guys. They look average at a distance and rubbish up close. Oh well.

Brilliant use of the comic strip... but could we also have a picture of the diorama as an item? That way it will be easier to judge what it looks like as a whole.

Thank you :)

Here's the final piece in its comic form. I left my camera at my parents so haven't been able to take the photos of it properly.

Thanks guys. Whenever I reread it I keep noticing all the little things in the writing that bother me.
I'm pretty happy with it, especially since its the first diorama I've made. Some of the painting was quite rushed.

Such a great idea. I really like the sewer setting. One of your castings?
