There's a long story that goes along the lines of the repair getting sanctioned, the design staying on there for a few months up until a squadron photo where some big-wig decided that the pic should be painted over...

... the splat was splatted a long time ago :(
The light at the end of the tunnel is just someone with a torch, locking the gate.

that's so cool - and if the Land Rovers and troops are anything to go by it will be a great kit enhanced by Inso's 'splat!' I'm tempted...

There was a stand alone set of decals done by a different company (which I bought) that had the splat art on it but this time around I am tempted to buy the kit anyway (It is perfect for a dropship conversion :D).

I've just picked up the airfix 1/48 landys - and (after a long time) finally checked the fod, seen this - I think I need to save up for a 1/48 Merlin to go with them now :)

saw the kit at the scale model show last week at telford,  not only does it look smart its hugh.  Im def going to have to get one,  the only question is before or after chrismas.
