Voted: good luck everyone!

Some real beauties in there...

Another reason why I'd have preferred a system where the people at Hasslefree would choose the winners - I'm terrible at making decisions, and there are (way) more than three excellent entries in each category!

Seems to have been a temporary problem only though- works fine now (the site loads, didn't check if voting works as I already did vote yesterday).

is there any confirmation that votes have been counted? I select, click vote and it just flashes to the top of the page and doesn't do anything

edit: voted on sci-fi and fantasy, doesnt seem to wanna accept my vote on modern :P

First category I voted on gave no confirmation (or other reaction whatsoever), but when I tried to vote again, it said I already had voted there, so it came through after all.
Other two categories showed a confirmation immediately after voting. If in doubt, just give it another try!

And everybody gets disqualified for voting twice. :silly

Is that it? After it fails to count your vote once and you try again it disqualifies you?

Voting seems fine at the moment. If there are any momentary outages just try again later.

Not sure why some people aren't getting a thanks for voting type message, we did when we tested it. Either way if it says you already voted then it mans your previous vote has been counted and future votes will just be ignored, there's no disqualifications etc. :)

It's possible the lack of voting message etc. is because we've hidden the results, we figured it would be more fun that way. Normally you can follow the results as you go along on these things but it tends to encourage the 'cool' effect etc. imo. I prefer blind voting, plus you get the cool 'And the winners  are...' announcement :)

I can't vote as I get the "You have already voted" message. We assume because El had voted before me and we share the same IP. I'll vote from work in the week; not ballot stuffing, I promise, just getting one vote each.

I was thrilled to vote and can't believe how cool all the minis are!
Is there someplace to see the numbers as the are compiled, or will we just get an announcement when the voting phase is over?

Yes, it's IP blocked sorry. Part of the software. And no problem about voting from work :)

No need to apologise, it's no real hassle. I just have to wait until later on in the week as I'm being allowed out of the lab for a couple of days.
