WHEN: It runs from 1st July 2012 to 1st September 2012
There are 3 designated categories to enter: 1: Fantasy
2: Modern/Contemporary
3: Sci-Fi
RULES OF ENTRY1: You must use the female armature HFL503 as a basis for your sculpt. Points will be awarded for how you manipulate the armature, change the pose, convert it, control of putty as well as tool work and attention to detail. The final piece must be recognisable as being derived from HFL503
2: The Final piece must be able to be castable in metal by us. This means you will need to use epoxy putties like Greenstuff or Milliput plus you can add other items like guns or parts of other figures. Fimo is not advised as it can crumble under the pressure exerted on it when a mould is being vulcanised.
3: You must agree that the Final Piece that you submit will be sent to HF for production and you will relinquish all rights to reproduce that piece for personal use or for profit.
WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN FOR YOUR HARD WORK?The winner of each category will get
£50 worth of HF vouchers
PLUS a resin copy of their winning entry
The runner-up in each category will get
£25 worth of HF vouchers
PLUS a resin copy of their winning entry
Each entrant who submits a finished piece will receive a metal casting of their figure
plus metal castings of each of the winner and runner-up in each category.
HOW DO I ENTER?Firstly you need to get hold of HFL503. Under UK Gaming Laws we cannot charge you for this.
It is obviously best for us if you can pay for it, however you can also add it free of charge to your normal webstore order by entering the code
ARMATURE at checkout. If you choose to purchase the armature for the competition we will add
FREE to your order some greenstuff to help you along, just make sure we know by telling us in the 'comments' box at checkout that it is for the competition.
If you just want the armature then email us with your shipping address and we will send it out to you. If you choose this option then please try to enter the competition, we are a small company who cant afford to give away postage costs and armatures to people who just want something for free and who have no intention of entering the competition. I am all for frugality but if that is your intention then that is just tight!
Keep an eye on the Facebook page or here for further information that you might need including image sizes and sending in your entries.
Good luck !
