Goblin Comparisons
« on: May 23, 2012, 12:19:38 AM »
Hello people, I was just wandering if anyone had any photos comparing Heresy's goblins to other manufacturers? I'm contemplating a small goblin force for Warhammer but I don't like the GW models... Particularly wondering how they scale up size wise next to Red Box and Hasslefree goblins, and maybe Kev Adams recent sculpts.
Much obliged if anyone can help  :D

I have an old GW night goblin boss and some heresy goblins, would that comparison help? Those are the only gobbos I have, which is strange because I quite like goblin miniatures.

Thanks for the replies guys. A shot next to a GW goblin would be a help if it's not a hassle - it's just hard to picture how they'll appear in terms of height and proportions.
Slightly taller than HF hmmmmm... anyone know how RBG goblins measure up to others? Just trying to decide what ranges will go together acceptably to make reasonably cohesive units (with a fairly broad definition of cohesive)... Could use different ranges for different troop types I suppose... Does anyone know of any decent goblin wolfriders out there?

Surely goblins come in various shapes and sizes - a unit wouldn't necessarily be of a uniform height ?
I think you will find GW goblins will look chunky compared to the other manufactuers above

Oops, I keep forgetting to take that photo. The goblin I have was a rather small OOP one though. A night Goblin boss from way back.

If I do use any GW models they'll be pretty old ones - back when they were actually small... Thinking a mix of HF, Heresy and RBG with maybe some GZ wolfriders. Finding it hard to source wolfriders I like. Not sure what I think of the Otherworld ones - not really my thing...

Here you go. The Night Goblin boss is a very short guy I think the Shaman/Standard bearer (whatver he is) ismore to the correct scale of the old Goblin range. Andy's boss and grunt for comparison.
