So, I had been scratching my head as to what I should paint on this guy's shield, and then it suddenly came to me about half an hour ago...



Next step is to to shine up the armour.

Thanks for the kind comments folks. I've been a bit trepidatious with my freehand shield painting in the past, but I think this has worked out quite well.
