35mm bases

(1/2) > >>

Steel Penguin:
Im looking to make some hoverbot / transolar disks for my dr who mag, i daleks, ( theyll be classed as somthing close to the skeleton bots by a certain large company)  making the fence round them is going to be cutting wire grating, i intend to mold and then cast the inserts for the grav drive for the bottom, but i realy realy cant be bothered to make the circular flying bit by hand.
so the question.
Any one know where i can get 35mm circles  roughly the same thickness as 25mm mini bases, im going to want between 6 and a dozen, ( maybe  a few more at a later date),  id prefer to use just plastic but any material will do in the end..

Inso:
Ask Fenris to cut you some with his laser cutter?

I know that Heresy/Hasslefree sell 30mm bases... never heard of 35mm ones though.

Steel Penguin:
Thanks Inso, that may be they way i end up going.
The size is from siting a darlek onto a 25mm round and 30 mm lipped base and going... way too small, still not big enough...
I could go and cut them by either circle cutter from platicard, or with a circular drill but both involve a lot of effort for the result.   I may have to ask some one i know at a nut and bolt factory if they could do me a forener.

Inso:
You are aware that HF/Heresy sell 30mm unlipped bases, aren't you? Like a standard 40mm base but 30mm instead. If it is DALEKS, (from the cover of magazines), they should fit on those... in fact, I've just done a size check on the 30mm bases:

Not much space for decoration but they are completely surrounded by base (there's the old one on the left and the latest one on the right).

Steel Penguin:
Thats pretty much why i want 35mm Inso,  i want to use the base as the body of the Hovabought, so will want to add a grav drive under it and a low guard rail / fence round the outside with a control box on it,  i think 40mm will be way too big  hence the odd size.
