Conflicting emotions
« on: December 20, 2011, 08:51:52 AM »
So as one who is terribly prone to leaving everything last minute I finally got round to putting in my holiday order.

Sadly due to my procrastination 4 or 5 of the minis I was wanting to pick up are out of stock.

 :blub:

On the other hand it is always nice to see that such a great company is selling out of their stock.

 :lalala:

I am very confused.

Yeah. I was disappointed that the new Smudge had gone already. I blame Inso for that! :tantrum:  :silly

I'm just glad I got in shortly after Inso with buying that new smudge.
If the powers that be are listening, will there be a metal Andreah, the resin one just seems a bit out of my price range?

You see?  I was holding out for the two Grymn officers so that I could put my big order in.  I'll just remind everyone that Smudge was released a good couple of weeks BEFORE the Grymn officers so there was plenty of time for everyone to get some before I emptied the stock ;).

I can only apologise but also say how cool the four I bought are .

I must say that I was very pleased with the order I received because there were miniatures that I wasn't sure I wanted because of their genre (fantasy Dwarfs) but when they arrived I was kicking myself that I hadn't bought them before!  Lovely sculpts.

I agree inso the fantasy dwarfs are brilliant... I'm waiting for the new multi parts too...

In my recent order I bought the two grymn officers and Hyun dai, thinking I could use the three of them together in a diorama as leader and chiefs... But damnit the Hyundai figure is enormous compared to the grymn! I might have to stand the grymn on boxes to get the height right like some kind of surreal reverse joke.... Hmmm

He is enormous because he is the leader.

Or rather was...

yes there will, we had some casting issues but fingers crossed for January.

Some items are out of stock because we have run the levels down lower than usual.  Due to the closure for the majority of this last year our cash flow is not as good as it should be and our policy has always been never to order restocks from casters unless we have the money in the bank to pay for what we have ordered so when we restock instead of stocking up for 4 months supply at a time we are doing smaller orders for maybe 2 months supply.
A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

So surrounding yourself with dwarves can make you a giant.

I needs me an Andreah and Smudge with Pulse rifle...

Well. I say NEED...but they'll look so spiffy as part of my Space Pirate crew that I will one day get around to painting...
