leadhead:
I'd fill it with what ever filler you prefer.  Don't try and smooth it down right away.  Fill it so that it is over full, but not overly so, with all the edges just covered.  Let it cure, then use a file and reshape it.  That's what I'd do, but I seem to have a knack for filing.

Brandlin:
Either diluted milliput or squadron green putty. Fill and sand. Repeat until smooth.
