I have the first resin casting, assembled her on my desk.  As soon as the kids are in bed i will get pics done!  We should ahve some costings in the next few days as well!
A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather & ask for it back when it starts to rain.

most mornings i wake up grumpy.   sometimes i just let him sleep.

my life consists of brief snatched moments of living my life hidden deep among chaos, confusion& the  going crazy, every night i go to sleep filled with hope & enthusiasm for the new day coming.  then i wake up & think "here I go again" & just aim to survive.

If you field an overwhelming force against a paltry number of defenders, whatever you do, make sure the defenders are not English!

Simply stunning.

A brilliant addition not just to the Grymn range but to 28mm Scifi in general!

Still think it looks like a Gungan and that the plates on the legs don't match the rest of it asthetically, but it's still awesome and a deffo purchase.

I've been looking at the walker and I reckon that if you remove the armour from the weapons and put it under the feet, then you have a robotic support unit for an alpine army.

As for aesthetics, it is all horses for courses.  As long as it looks like it would work (and the walker does) then what it looks like will always be subjective.  I like the mix of curves and straight edges but it would never be to everyone's taste.

Kev...are you planning to make some arms to go with it or will I have to make my own?

I might get round to it someday, but they go against the rationale I designed them around. They're for use in hilly terrain, where tracked units don't work so well and having the weapons at the top of the unit help keep them at a low profile when peeking over a ridge.

What about lifting and carrying in the rocky terrain on said hills?

;)

Might have to give making arms some thought :D
