That Beast is awesome, I've been meaning to post forever to say.  I really learned about the X-Men from the 90's cartoon (I was in college), so that incarnation was always my "basic" Beast.

Goliath is coming out great so far as well.  Which Goliath is that?  Pym?  Barton?  Foster?

The Henry Pym version:

But it doesn't really matter because it will be an OGrymn... :)

I wish the larger miniatures weren't so unwieldy because he is taking an age to finish... you can't see all the smoothing that has been done to his back but I thought that I'd show him off anyway:

Very cool, static looking legs but the mask and muscles are awesome.

They are miniatures from the Crossover range but you get a selection of heads to make your own characters.

I just liked the style of the head/body combinations and chose names that suited them.

The next one is called 'The Judge'.

I've got some Crossover figs myself. I was just wondering if you were referencing any obscure characters. I like Matterhorn especially, it really suits him! Beamer is clearly a not/Cyclops; I'm less sure what Stockade's powers would be from his name.

He has the ability to alter his mass (like Vision) so he can be as solid as a mountain (or a stockade) if he wants to be. Add super-strength and he is ready for the fight :)

Matterhorn is super-strong, has tough skin and has a charge attack where he uses his head to batter you into submission. He is also adept at climbing so may have the wall-crawler ability.

Beamer is a Cyclops clone.

Thing is, I knew what Matterhorn's and Beamer's powers were from their names and appearances. Which means you made very good comic heroes! I was a bit less clear on Stockade. But his powers do suit him. :)

It has come to my attention that many of the Mantic Dreadball figures would make good supers. Posed as running and/or punching, and without weapons. MVP's would be easiest to get as singles, but I imagine that when the full game is out, and people can get teams, singles from the teams should appear on Ebay.

Well, the "Enforcer" is a perfect Iron Man. And the female humans could be used for Rescue.

As soon as I saw the Enforcer miniatures, I immediately thought of Iron Man and with the Forgefathers I thought of Juggernaut... so yes, there is plenty of scope for super heroes or even teams of super forces (like SHIELD).

My fine detail painting sux, so I was looking for handy decals for various typical superhero symbols. You can find red, blue, or white stars on Ebay looking for decals for old military kits.

But for more variety... I found this: Topsignseller Nail Art Decals. They're peel and stick, so they might be a bit thick. But there are lots of symbols, scorpions, flags... quite a range. Or these water transfers: Sparkly Nails: gotta love that spiderweb!

Just thought I'd post this in case anyone finds it useful.

I've decided that this guy will be added to the human team...Tango (I need to put his name on the base though):

I also got a Mantic Enforcer leader to convert into a Dwarf in Exo-armour but he is so huge that I think I have my Ironman in Hulk-buster armour-alike:

"Tango"! Another well-named super. Is he that bright in real life?

Oh, and that Enforcer is a big boy, isn't he? I look forward to your conversion.

Tango is THAT bright :)

I'm not sure whether I am going to convert the Enforcer at all (except to remove the weapons).

That enforcer is huge, wouldn't have thought they're that big.

And Tango is a great idea- the white shorts make him look even brighter.

Tango is from Black Hat miniatures and has been painted for ages but now he has somewhere to go. His paint is based on the Tango man from the Tango comercials... an orange man in a white nappy who runs up to people and slaps them (replaced by kissing after a few school playground burst eardrums).

I think his powers will be like the Blob's but with special slap and clap attacks to add a bit of flavour (the slap causing huge amounts of knock back and the clap being a ranged 'wind' attack... again causing knockback but also a sonic attack).

@ink - I was gutted that the enforcer was that big :( . I really wanted to convert it into a dwarf but it would take too much work to do at it's current size.
