I'm glad to hear that things are getting back on track I've always bought straight from HF, Heresy, Black Scorpion and Eoltih. I hope everything continues on an even keel from here on in

We had an office manager due to start at the beginning of July. This however didnt work out as he became quite ill and decided he couldnt commit to us without the possibility of letting us down in the near future. A slight understatement from Sally there but given their turbulent lifestyle, she and Kev kinda took it in their stride when I turned up on their doorstep a few weeks ago, in the midst of a nervous breakdown, suicidally depressed, and sobbing: "I can't do this". Those of you who know me from TerraGenesis will probably be aware that I've been having issues with depression (again) for a few months and that my wife left me in April/May. I thought going to work for Kev and Sally in Derbyshire would give me a new lease of life but as time went by, and I progressed moving from Norfolk to Derbyshire, I found myself missing my wife more and more, getting increasingly depressed, and ended up suffering a nervous breakdown at the beginning of July. I've been staying with my dad in Manchester, and a friend in Sheffield, and only came back to Ripley for the first time a couple of days ago. I'm heading north again tomorrow because I still don't think I can hack it being here on my own at the weekend. So although I think I would have enjoyed working for Hasslefree, and I regret having to pull the plug at this juncture, I think Kev, Sally and I are all agreed that it's better for me to quit at this stage rather than 'explode' in a few weeks time. In all honestly, I'm so unstable at the moment that I'd crack up within days if not hours if I tried to push ahead at this stage.

I just got a new job this week (what a transition!). My first paycheck after GenCon is definately coming Hasslefree's way - there's so much to catch up on..

To inject a little humor in this discussion: The chain of command is the chain I beat you with until you realize I'm in command.
Sorry to hear about how Old Man Murphy seems to be gunning for the Whites of late.

I hope things get better for you - I know they will - just hang on awhile longer. I hope that you are seeking professional, medical, emotional, and spiritual help for yourself. Please say you are, Andy! There is no sense in toughing this out alone, people are there for you to lean on and talk to.

Please say you are, Andy! There is no sense in toughing this out alone, people are there for you to lean on and talk to. Thanks. I am. Probably half the problem was that I was trying to keep it all to myself. Now that it's out in the open a number of people have rallied around. Probably going to take a while though and obviously this is a crucial time for Hasslefree; so while I'm sure a fully functioning me would be a great benefit to them, the currently screwed up me is a potential liability and I'm better off out of there for their sake as well as mine. Kev and Sally have been great with me about it and I'm on side with regard to anything I might do for them in the future... even if it's only by way of increasing the size of my own personal lead mountain.

Sorry to hear about all the bad vibes. I sympathise fully as I too suffer from pretty serious depression and I know how it can totally screw yr entire life up, aside from your feelings. I know I'm not the first to say it in this thread but you have my full support (as best as I can) and I've got a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks so I'll hit my folks and girlfriend with a wishlist of your stock. I've got my eye on Imogen, Deff & Taxxis, Shimmer (b) and both Liralith's (for my all girl Chaos Warrior Warband). I know it's probably not that much help but I'll definitely buy as much as I can to help as best I can.
I'll also try and drum up some interest from my wargaming buddies, all of who were pretty impressed with my Hasslefree stuff, and try and get some of em to buy some.
On a lighter note, referring to another part of this thread, what is it with GW staff? They get into a frenzy if you even mention another miniature company in their presence. And when I told them I didn't want to buy their overpriced trees because I get cheaper ones from my local model shop I thought the guy was gonna have a heart attack. He was even tutting when I said I make my own terrain.
Anyway, Love and respect and hope everything gets sorted out for you guys in the near future.

Oh, I didn't see this thread before, but I was wondering for the last days how your business is going at the moment. This definitely helped me to decide where my lead pile money will go this month. I've just received so many bases...now I need more miniatures!

I only recently found Hasslefree and I'm eternally thankful it didn't go under in the last few months, the quality of the mini's is astonishing and having just placed one order I'm already sizing up my next, despite having nearly an entire Space Wolf army to paint plus umpteen other projects. Having just read all this I now feel even more compelledto buy I will be spreading the word as much as possible.

Yeah, I've only recently discovered Hasslefree as well. I'm mostly into Infinity, and then I came across this diorama ( http://coolminiornot.com/211509) which got me looking up who made the two kids. Which lead me to Hasslefree - instant hit with me ! And woohoo, my order arrived today !!!

Wore my Hasslefree t-shirt at GenCon, so hopefully that might get some more people interested in checking out the website and ordering something.
