Lots of Nine Inch Nails and Tool, but a vast array of other stuff including Pucifer, Primus (and Les Claypool solo stuff), Deftones, Helmet, PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones (old stuff), Radiohead, The Church, The Cure, Tomahawk, The Armada (and The Tea Party), Jane's Addiction, A Perfect Circle, Nick Cave (up to and including Murder Ballads, but not the recent stuff), 12 Rounds and a great one to listen to while painting is The Dirty Three.

Right at the moment I'm listening to the new Alice In Chains album.

Great to see Sisters of Mercy and Temple of the Dog mentioned.

I reckon' it's great. The new singer sounds a lot like Layne (couldn't get over that when I saw them live in February). The music is definetely Alice in Chains but has also moved on and sounds new and interesting. It's really growing on me and I'd be listening to it more often if I didn't keep forgetting to transfer the CD to my iPod.

Well, I have a dedicated gaming playlist on my iTunes(for PC gaming, anyway), which contains things like Alestorm, Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, , Machine Head, Manowar, Megadeth, Sepultura, Slayer, and White Zombie.

Definitely! Their best album since "Earth Vs..." IMHO. I've been into the Wildhearts since '93 (saw them with Alice in Chains at Brixton Academy), and the only time I didn't like them live was "Endless, Nameless" era.
A truly remarkable, overlooked and underrated band. If you like Rock, then you should give "Chutzpah!" a blast and work your way through their back catalogue... :D

Don't think that's the name of any of the songs.

Could you be getting it mixed up with Heartbreaker, one of the songs off the AD Police soundtrack?

My current driving CD has all 3 albums by Schoolyard Heroes, the first Evanescence album, two Lacuna Coil albums (Comalies and Karmacode), 3 Agent Orange albums (2 studio, 1 live), Machinegun Etiquette by The Damned and a White Zombie / Rob Zombie "Best of" collection. I love having a car CD player that plays MP3s.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned...

Easily their best album, with "Black Album" & "Damned, Damned, Damned" in hot pursuit.
"Plan 9, Channel 7" is my favourite Damned song, ever!  :D

Have you looked into Let Sleeping Corpses Lie? It's the complete White Zombie back catalogue, including B-sides and a DVD of promo videos and live stuff.

Rolling stones, acdc and various others (old school rock I was told today), a little bit of folk (show of hands) and a few movie themes. (hunt for Red October, kelly's heroes, serenity and terminator)

At the moment ... Black Sabbath covers, played with medieval instruments and the lyrics translated into Latin and sung in a choral style :)

Overall, I think I like the Black Album (extended version with the long version of Curtain Call) slightly better than Machine Gun Etiquette, but M G E is better driving music. If I had CDs of the first two albums by the Damned, they would be in the driving music mix.

I haven't seen that before, but I will take a look next time I'm in a store with a good music section.
