I was at a local store yesterday, buying some parts and tools for my job, and asked how things were going business wise and such. Early this afternoon, the owner of said store rang me at home, and we had a little chat that lead to him asking for my resume, in a bit of a round about way. As I have been thinking of a change of scenery of late, I was thrilled and rushed off to tickity-up said resume and hand deliver it to him before closing time. Resumes are about making an impression for the good, and I feel I have achieved that very thing. It doesn't hurt, I think, that over the last two years I have been shifting my professional purchases to his store as often as possible. We shall see what the future holds. With eager eyes.
