One thing about that trip up to see my friends was especially nice. They'd been a bit worried about their Labrador, Sammo*, as he can be a bit lary and over-protective about the house. As he hadn't seen me for more than half his life, they were concerned that he'd see me as a stranger and decide that this obvious dangerous brigand must be seen off. And, bless him, he's not really aggressive but he's a big old bruiser.
They needn't have worried. He greeted me ecstatically and, for half the first evening there, kept coming and giving his toys to me. But not to play with, he just wanted to dump them in my lap then run off and get another one to give me. It was rather sweet even though manky toy penguins, dinosaurs and fish that are covered in doggy drool aren't usually top of my list of must-share items.
That made me smile.
And pay day just came around and I placed a little Hasslefree order.

* Named after their favourite kung fu star - it would be nice to do have a 'Hammo Sung' if ever you revisit the martial artists range.
